With the V3 series, Midea is launching two household appliances that focus on efficiency, hygiene and convenience. The combination of the MFV3EW80BA10 front-loading washing machine and the MDV3EH100D heat pump dryer is aimed at anyone who wants to equip their household in a modern and cost-efficient way without having to compromise on useful functions.

The Midea V3 washing machine has a capacity of 8 kg, making it equally suitable for singles, couples and smaller families. At its heart is the so-called BLDC Inverter Quattro motor, a brushless DC motor which, according to the manufacturer, saves up to 70% energy compared to conventional models and runs 10.4% more quietly.
With 72 dB in spin mode and a noise class A, the washing machine is pleasantly quiet, which is particularly relevant for open-plan living concepts or operation in apartments. The spin speed of up to 1,351 rpm ensures that the laundry is already well pre-dried after washing, which in turn shortens the drying time afterwards.
Operation is via a clear LED display with intuitive program selection. A start time preselection of up to 24 hours makes it possible to run the washing machine at night or at off-peak times when the electricity tariff is cheaper. A child lock and an acoustic end signal are also on board.
15 programs for every type of laundry
With a total of 15 washing programs, the MFV3EW80BA10 covers almost all everyday situations. The spectrum ranges from classic cotton laundry to easy-care, delicates, wool and darks to a dedicated jeans program. The pet hair program stands out in particular: it combines an intensive pre-wash with an additional rinse cycle to effectively remove pet hair from textiles. The wool program is Woolmark-certified, which means that woollen sweaters and knitwear can be machine-washed without shrinking or felting. If you are pressed for time, use the 15-minute quick program, which is designed for lightly soiled everyday clothes.
A technical highlight of the washing machine is the integrated steam function. Steam penetrates deeper into textile fibers than water alone, removes dirt more gently and at the same time kills allergens such as dust mites. This is a real added value, especially for people with asthma or house dust allergies.
This is complemented by a special allergy program that works with increased temperatures and additional rinsing cycles to reliably remove allergens. According to Midea, the 7-layer, stainless and corrosion-resistant steel of the motor ensures an exceptionally long service life.
Midea V3 heat pump dryer MDV3EH100D: Hygiene through UV light
The MDV3EH100D complements the washing machine as a fully-fledged heat pump dryer with a generous capacity of 10 kg, which is slightly more than the washing machine offers. A conscious design decision on the part of Midea:
Laundry takes up more volume when drying than when washing. Heat pump technology means that the air in the appliance is not simply heated and drained, but circulated and dehumidified in the process. This makes heat pump dryers significantly more energy efficient than conventional condenser dryers. With 1.37 kWh per cycle and energy efficiency class D, the MDV3EH100D works economically and gently.
With 66 dB in operation and a noise class C, the dryer is slightly above the level of the washing machine, which is normal for heat pump dryers. The LED display, the start time preselection (0-24 hours) and the child lock correspond to the convenience level of the washing machine and ensure a standardized operating concept within the V3 series.
UV sterilization for added hygiene
The most striking unique selling point of the MDV3EH100D is the integrated UV sterilization. Ultraviolet light destroys the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms without the need for chemical additives. This is particularly valuable for baby laundry, towels, bed linen or sportswear, which should be regularly sterilized. In combination with the heat pump technology, which dries textiles at lower temperatures, the laundry is not only treated gently, but also hygienically processed. And only very few classic tumble dryers offer this.
The Midea V3 series dryer offers nine programs, including cotton in three moisture levels (extra dry, normal, iron damp), easy care, delicates, wool, sports, quick dry and a refresh program. The latter is practical if garments are not dirty, but a little musty or creased. After a short time, they come out of the appliance smelling fresh and smooth.
The automatic crease protection function comes into play at the end of the drying process: the drum continues to rotate at regular intervals to prevent the textiles from creasing if the laundry cannot be removed immediately. In many cases, this completely eliminates the need for ironing.
