System Configuration in X-908
Now we come to the installation of the components. As hardware we use a Intel Core-i3-8100 on the B360 Pro-VH from MSI with 8 Gigabyte G.Skill Aegis DDR4 2133 RAM. The graphics card is a GTX 1660Ti Gaming X 6G from MSI and for the performance the 400W Pure Power 10 from be quiet! is used.
The installation of the components ran without problems. All screws are available and all necessary spacers can be added. The installation of the power supply was a bit complicated. Here one must bring along some skill, but also this is to a large extent unproblematic.
However, a somewhat larger problem developed with the cabling. For a motherboard with the mATX form factor, the openings are unfortunately quite far away. With a larger motherboard and maybe a fully modular power supply you have less problems and the closing of the sidewall should work fine.
Lighting, Cooling and Volume
As already mentioned several times, the X-908 Infini2 comes with an addressable RGB control. With 14 pre-programmed modes, you don’t necessarily need such a connector on the motherboard itself. With this you can synchronize the lighting with programs like Asus Aura, MSI Mystic Light and Gigabyte RGB Fusion. In addition to the RGB fans, the Infiniti front and the RGB strip on the power supply tunnel are connected to the controller.
In order to get a short impression of the cooling capacity, we have executed the system described above for 15 minutes with Prime95 and FurMark. The case fans ran at a speed of 1400 RPM and are audible, but not disturbing.
