Logitech G is the gaming division of the popular manufacturer of PC peripherals. With the PRO X SUPERLIGHT, the company has now presented a mouse that is primarily aimed at demanding eSports enthusiasts. It is to be nothing less than the lightest wireless gaming mouse ever. The extremely low weight is one of the main reasons for its performance.
Much technology, little weight
The upcoming gaming mouse is not only supposed to be super-light with just 63 grams. Logitech G also uses its own LIGHTSPEED technology. The positive trio is rounded off by the powerful HERO-25K sensor. In the name of the custom-made gaming mouse for eSportsmen, it is clear that this is a new addition to the PRO series.
Before Logitech G brings the new product to market, it has been thoroughly tested by experts. As announced, the upcoming gaming peripherals were even used in the final of the 12th ESL PRO League season as well as this year’s European Championship League of Legends. In both cases ASTRALIS and G2 Esports respectively were able to win.
Professionals are thrilled
A well-known tester of the upcoming PRO X SUPERLIGHT is Oleksandr Kostyliev. Under the name s1mple, he is one of the best known eSportsmen at Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). He emphasized in a statement once again that “target and accuracy are of utmost importance” for CS:GO. With regard to the PRO X SUPERLIGHT, he confirmed that he was able to call up his full performance capacity thanks to the gaming mouse. All in all, he considers this to be an uncompromising gaming mouse.
But from the eSport segment there are also other positive voices. The eSporter Benita Novshadin (bENITA) also gives a positive feedback. She does not play CS:GO, but is a professional player of the gravel Valorant. She stresses that it is above all the low weight of the mouse that convinces her. But beyond that, the precision is also impressive. According to her own statement, this allows her to “concentrate optimally on the game and the respective challenge”.
Own LIGHTSPEED technology
Logitech G relies on the LIGHTSPEED receiver developed in-house for its PRO X SUPERLIGHT. This relies on a 2.4 GHz connection. In terms of battery life, the manufacturer’s specifications also sound positive. It should be able to last up to 70 hours despite its slim weight. Appropriate PTFE feet should also ensure smooth operation. Thanks to the HERO 25K sensor, the new super-light gaming mouse from Logitech G reaches 25,600 DPI. This is designed to prevent scattering movements.
With the HERO 25K, Logitech G has created a very powerful sensor that is characterized above all by an intelligent energy management system. This should make it possible to adapt the frame rates to the mouse movement. As a result, the HERO 25K achieves high energy efficiency and thus lower power consumption than comparable gaming mice.
The perfect solution for demanding gamers
It seems that Logitech G has a custom gaming mouse for demanding gamers and even professionals in the pipeline with the new PRO X SUPERLIGHT. Chris Pate, the portfolio manager for the PRO series, says himself that the company wants to push the limits of what is possible with the latest gaming mouse. The reason for this should be the combination of state-of-the-art technology and super-light design.
It is precisely these points that should make the PRO X SUPERLIGHT a guarantee for top performance. If you take a look at the reviews of the testers from the eSport industry, these do not seem to be empty words. However, it remains to be seen how the gaming mouse will perform in the first neutral tests.
