Asus Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED and Zenbook Pro 17 available now

Asus had already officially unveiled the two exciting and innovative new notebooks in May 2022. Now they announce that the Asus Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED and Zenbook Pro 17 models are now available in stores.

Asus Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED with a strong display

The Asus Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED (UP6502), which combines flexibility and performance, is particularly exciting. Thanks to its convertible design with 360° ErgoLift hinge, the all-rounder can be adapted to any situation and is equally suitable for work, surfing, streaming and gaming.

The notebook is equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor, 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB SSD power. The new Intel Arc A370M GPU is also installed at most, which is supposed to provide a strong performance for image editing, video editing or gaming sessions.

The second of a total of five Intel Arc-Movbile graphics solutions A370M combines 8 Xe cores with 1,024 shaders, 8 ray tracing units, as well as a clock frequency of 1,550 MHz and 4 GB GDDR6 VRAM. The Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED is cooled by an innovative ASUS IceCool Plus cooling system.

The battery is also quite large with a capacity of 96 Wh and should allow up to 12 hours of intensive work according to the manufacturer. The latest Wi-Fi 6E is also part of the package.

The built-in NanoEdge display comes up with a 2.8K resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 120 hertz. In addition, the display is touch-enabled, while the notebook has a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The eye-friendly display is certified by TÜV Rheinland and ideal for longer work sessions. In addition, the display is Pantone-validated and reproduces 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.

Asus Zenbook Pro 17 with strong performance

More powerful and bigger comes the Asus Zenbook Pro 17 (UM6702). With its powerful processor up to AMD Ryzen 9-6900HX, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD power, the Zenbook Pro 17 is well equipped even for demanding tasks. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU is used as the graphics card.

In return, there is a high-resolution WQHD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits. However, you have to do without the convertible mode and touchscreen.

In return, the Pro 17 offers a 180° ErgoLift hinge, which allows the notebook to be opened completely and laid flat on the table. This makes it easy to take notes or share content.

A large ErgoSense touchpad in the Zenbook Pro 17 also facilitates creative work. The Zenbook Pro 17 also features a chic monogram logo and is certified to the exacting U.S. military standard, making it especially rugged and well protected against external influences.

Nevertheless, the 17-incher only weighs in at 2,350 grams. The battery has a capacity of 76 watt hours and is supposed to last up to 14 hours. Furthermore, the ASUS IceCool Plus cooling system is also used in this model.

Prices and availability

Both new Asus notebooks are available in stores now. The Asus Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED (UP6502) starts at a recommended retail price of 1,599 euros, while the Asus Zenbook Pro 17 (UM6702) is available from 1,499 euros.
