With the outdoor laptop Acer Enduro Urban N3 and tablet Acer Enduro Urban T3, the company has presented two exciting products that rely on particularly robust materials and are antimicrobial protected.
Acer Enduro Urban N3: Antimicrobial laptop
Acer is expanding its antimicrobial products to several new lines. One of these represents the Acer Enduro Urban N3 outdoor laptop, which features Acer’s Antimicrobial 360 design and an antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass to counteract microbes below the display. Other parts of the notebook, such as the case, the touchpad or the keys, also have an antimicrobial ionic silver coating.
Technically, the notebook relies on an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX3308 GPU and 32 GB9 DDR4 RAM. A battery life of up to 13 hours and an FHD display with 450 nits brightness make the Enduro Urban N3 a strong companion on the go.
This is a particularly robust 35.56 cm (14 inch) notebook for outdoor use. The device, which weighs only 1.85 kg and is 21.95 mm thin, is certified according to military standards (MIL-STD 810H3) and is industrially protected (IP536) against dust and water. The laptop’s four reinforced corners ensure that the device can survive drops from table height without damage. Combined with the waterproof design of the I/O ports, speakers and buttons, as well as the unique drainage system and Acer’s waterproof Aquafan, the result is an extremely rugged design that makes the Acer Enduro Urban N3 a delight to use outdoors.
Outdoor Tablet Acer Enduro Urban T3
The situation is similar with the Acer Enduro Urban T3 tablet. It measures 25.4 cm (10 inches) and is especially suitable for outdoor use and discovery tours thanks to its robust design. This is because it is MIL-STD-810H certified thanks to its four corner bumpers and can survive drops from table height. It is also IP53 certified thanks to its waterproof I/O flaps, speakers and buttons, which means it is well protected against dust and water.
The weight is 595 grams. Plus, with Acer’s Antimicrobial 360 design, the tablet has an antimicrobial coating on just about all touchable surfaces, including the screen, cover, and buttons.
It features a Full HD (1920×1200) display including10-point touch support and delivers clear images even outdoors thanks to a brightness of 600 nits. There is a 5 MP wide-angle camera on the front. Thanks to the addition of an AI noise-canceling microphone and dual-band WiFi, the Enduro Urban T3 is great for video calls or distance learning. Whatever comes up in a day, the MediaTek octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM provide enough power to handle all tasks smoothly.
