Acer L811, Nitro XV272UKF and CB273U: New WQHD monitors and laser projector unveiled

With the Acer Nitro XV272UKF and the CB273U, the well-known manufacturer has introduced two exciting new monitors. Both rely on a WQHD resolution and are aimed at gamers or image editing professionals. The Acer L811 also joins an exciting ultra-short-throw projector with HDR-10-compatible 4K resolution and 3,000 lumens of brightness.

Acer Nitro XV2 series: new WQHD IPS gaming monitor with 300Hz

The new Nitro XV272U KF monitor is aimed primarily at gamers who want to get the most out of their display. Here, the manufacturer installs a 27-inch (68.58 cm) WQHD display (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) that comes with a maximum refresh rate of 300 Hz.

AMD’s FreeSync Premium technology improves the visual performance by adapting the screen’s refresh rate to that of the GPU, thus guaranteeing smooth gameplay. The low response time is also remarkable, which Acer claims to be 0.5 ms (gray to gray).

The Acer Black Boost technology makes it easier to recognize details like hidden enemies in darker environments. The VESA DisplayHDR 600-certified monitor covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and has a color accuracy of Delta E<1 to display games more lifelike.

At the same time, Acer installs an interesting Agile-Splendor IPS panel, which is supposed to feature a particularly high contrast and vivid colors, even at wide viewing angles. At the same time, the Acer Vision Care 3.0 technology with its various features provides eye relief. Acer LightSense adjusts the brightness of the screen accordingly to the ambient light, while Acer ColorSense adjusts the color temperature of the screen to that of the environment. Additionally, the monitor is TÜV/Eyesafe certified.

Furthermore, the Nitro XV272U KF features a USB Type-C port that delivers up to 65 watts of charging power and is part of a KVM switch. This allows two computers to be operated with the same mouse-keyboard combination.

Acer CB273U monitor for professionals

Also 27 inches in size and equipped with a WQHD display is the Acer CB273U, which is primarily aimed at professional users. It is capable of displaying vivid 8-bit colors and is especially suitable for tasks in image editing and design. HDR10 is supported to display even deeper blacks, as well as more brilliant whites. The color accuracy is Delta E<1.

Acer’s CB Series monitors support a wide 178-degree viewing angle and come with a docking station that features a 90W USB Type-C port that supports notebook power, an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, and an integrated KVM switch.

The monitor is TÜV/Eyesafe certified and features a variety of technologies to provide the most comfortable viewing experience possible, including Acer BlueLightShield Pro technology, Acer Flickerless technology to eliminate screen flicker and Acer Low Dimming technology. The monitor’s Ergostand allows for further personalization, allowing users to find the perfect viewing angle.

Laser Projector Acer L811

Acer has also unveiled an exciting 4K laser projector, the L811, which is said to deliver an immersive home theater experience with HDR10 compatibility and a brightness of 3,000 lumens. With a projection area of 120 inches and a projection height of just 31 cm, the device ensures large screen sizes even in small rooms.

A contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 delivers deep blacks and enhances excellent picture quality, while Acer LumiSense technology analyzes content frame by frame and dynamically adjusts brightness. Content can also be projected in 3D at 144 Hz 24P via 3D Blu-ray.

In the pre-installed app market, various applications such as streaming services, social media platforms and more are available for download right out of the box. Users can also mirror images and videos wirelessly via Miracast if using Android or Windows devices, or via EShare if using iOS or Android.

Acer L811

In addition, Acer installs two 10-watt speakers complete with TrueHarmony technology, while Acer’s EcoProjection technology reduces power consumption by up to 66 percent in standby mode. This increases the laser’s lifespan to up to 30,000 hours. The projector also supports 24/7 continuous projection. With IP6X certification for dust resistance, the highest level for solid particles, the L811 is a highly durable projector that provides reliable performance in dusty environments or outdoors.
