Acer takes gamescom 2022 as an opportunity to once again remind us of its current gaming notebooks, Acer Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition and Predator Triton 300 SE. Especially the former is exciting, as stereoscopic 3D hereby enters the gaming world.
Acer Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition
The Acer Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition (PH315-55s) is a powerful gaming notebook that enables a stereoscopic 3D gaming experience. It makes use of information from game development to display games in stereoscopic 3D.
A unique pre-configured profile will be available at launch for each of the more than 50 modern and classic game titles. The SpatialLabs experience is created by combining an eye-tracking solution, a stereoscopic 3D display and real-time rendering technologies.
From a purely technical standpoint, the notebook relies on a 15.6-inch UHD 2D panel complete with an optically bonded liquid crystal lenticular lens. Thus, you can always switch between 2D and stereoscopic 3D views.
Equipped to the max, the notebook features 12th generation Intel Core i9 processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPUs, and up to 32GB of DDR5 memory. A dual-fan layout with a 5th-generation AeroBlade 3D fan provides a cooling system that is further supported by liquid metal thermal paste and Acer’s CoolBoost technology.
Windows 11, Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro and Wi-Fi 6E (E2600+1675i) round out the features along with HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4 and two fast USB 3.2 Gen2 ports.
Acer Predator Triton 300 SE
With the Acer Predator Triton 300 SE, you can expect a powerful and particularly slim gaming notebook. The Predator Triton 300 SE series thin gaming notebooks have been refreshed (model number PT314-52s) and equipped with the latest 12th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPUs.
A 16:10 OLED panel is offered for particularly deep contrasts and rich colors. Provided with the specially designed 5th generation Acer AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow technology and liquid metal thermal paste, the Predator Triton 300 SE stays cool and runs at peak performance at all times.
The notebook supports lightning-fast wireless connectivity thanks to Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i and is equipped with a host of connectivity options including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A.
