Would you like a little bit more? Gamers looking for a new high-end PC should keep an eye on the Acer Predator Orion 7000. The latest Intel Core i9 and i7 processors of the 12th generation and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPU do their job in this monster.
Acer Predator Orion 7000: Upgradeable desktop for the highest demands
If you want to tickle the maximum frames per second out of even the most demanding games, you’ll get your money’s worth with the new Predator Orion 7000 series. With the latest overclockable 12th generation Intel Core i9 and i7 processors, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs and up to 64GB of DDR5-4000 RAM, pro gamers and hardcore gamers are perfectly equipped for all the latest titles.
On top of that, there is a 2.5-inch USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C hot-swap drive bay that can be equipped with up to two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs (up to 1 TB capacity each) and two 3.5-inch SATA3 hard drives (up to 3 TB each).
The Predator Orion 7000 also offers the full range of connectivity: Intel Killer 2.5G LAN and Intel Wi-Fi 6E and 2×2 MU-MIMO technology guarantee fast and secure connections. The front of the case also offers a number of ports: three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C and two audio ports. On the back, there are also three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C, two USB 2.0 ports and three audio ports.
Thanks to PredatorSense software, RGB lighting, fan speed and system overclocking can be controlled. The final touches are the blue illuminated Predator logo on the front of the case and an easily accessible power button.
Powerful cooling performance
Acer is also aware that a correspondingly potent hardware also has to be cooled well. Accordingly, the manufacturer relies on a sophisticated system. Packaged in an EMI-compliant case, the transparent side panels made of tempered glass offer the perfect view of the fan units shimmering in RGB colors.
Two 140mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 front fans and a third 120mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 fan on the rear keep the powerhouse cool in heated battles. The FrostBlade’s thin and curved fan blades are designed to increase airflow within the unit without causing turbulence and dissipate heat as efficiently as possible.
An opening on the top of the Orion 7000 allows users to easily replace the 120mm fan with a 240mm fan. In addition to the fans, the innovative thermal management in the Predator Orion 7000 also consists of advanced airflow management and an AIO liquid cooler specifically for the CPU.
Pricing and Availability
Acer has not yet provided details on the pricing and availability of the new Predator Orion 7000 series. They plan to announce these at a later date.
