AeroCool Skyline ARGB: Case with 2 ARGB strips and acrylic side panel

AeroCool has unveiled a new midi tower case with a chic look. The AeroCool Skyline ARGB relies on a stylish front that is infused with two ARGB stripes, while an acrylic side panel allows you to see inside the case.

Although the manufacturer advertises the new case as a “high-performance” midi tower, there are many indications that it is actually more of a budget model. For example, the AeroCool Skyline ARGB does not have a glass panel on the side, but one made of acrylic.

This allows a view of the components on the left side. In terms of cooling, only a single fan with a diameter of 120 mm is used on the back. This fan is available without illumination (Skyline-A-BK-v1) or with ARGB illumination (Skyline-A-BK-v2).

A maximum of two additional 120 mm fans can be installed in the front and on the top. In addition, a 120 mm or 240 mm radiator can be installed on the front side if you want to use water cooling.

Controlling the ARGB lighting, which also extends across two strips on the front of the AeroCool Skyline ARGB, is made possible either with an LED button or can be synchronized with a compatible motherboard. There are various lighting modes to choose from.

Built for High Performance

In terms of motherboards, the AeroCool Skyline ARGB supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX standards. It can also accommodate high-end graphics cards with a maximum length of 380 mm. CPU coolers, on the other hand, can be a maximum of 154.8 mm. In terms of storage, space is provided for two 3.5-inch HDDs and four 2.5-inch SSDs.

The I/O panel in the lid of the case offers two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports each as well as 3.5 mm audio jacks for headphones and microphone. However, USB Type-C ports are not offered. The Skyline ARGB is made of 0.5 mm thick steel and ABS plastic. It measures 196 x 464 x 441 mm (W x H x D), but the manufacturer does not reveal the weight.
