AGON by AOC G2 Series: New gaming monitors around 24G2SPU, 27G2SPU, 24G2SPAE and 27G2SPAE

AGON by AOC has unveiled a whole four new G2 series gaming monitors. Specifically, these are the 24G2SPU, 27G2SPU, 24G2SPAE, and 27G2SPAE models, which feature IPS panels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

All new AGON by AOC G2 series gaming monitors rely on a flat IPS panel along with a fast frame rate of 165 Hz at a Full HD resolution. The ergonomic 24G2SPU and 27G2SPU displays replace the 24G2U and 27G2U models and can be optimally positioned according to gamers’ individual requirements. Ghosting, image stuttering and tearing are a thing of the past thanks to the 1ms response time (MPRT) and Adaptive Sync support for a variable refresh rate.

They rely on a slim, 3-sided bezel-less design, allowing seamless integration into large multi-monitor setups. As full-featured models, the 24G2SPU and 27G2SPU feature an integrated 4-port USB hub for direct connection of keyboards and mice, as well as dual 2W speakers.

24G2SPAE and 27G2SPAE with fewer features

The same display specifications are offered for the 24G2SPAE and 27G2SPAE monitors. However, the manufacturer does without the USB hub here, as well as height adjustment, pivot function and swivel. Instead, the two models of the AGON by AOC G2 series are only tiltable.

This should make them perfect for dual/triple monitor setups or for users who are already equipped with monitor arms like AOC’s AD110D0 via the VESA mount option.

All four new models feature game-specific settings such as Game Color (to adjust color saturation), Dial Point (crosshair overlay for precise aiming), LowBlue mode for longer sessions at night, and three game modes for different genres such as FPS, RTS, Racing, as well as three custom modes. The new advanced OSD software G-Menu is available for adjusting fine display details.

Prices and Availability

The AOC GAMING 24G2SPU (24-inch) and 27G2SPU (27-inch) will be available in stores in late March or early April at MSRPs of €259.00 and €309.00, respectively. The AOC GAMING 24G2SPAE as well as the 27G2SPAE will follow in July 2022 at an MSRP of 219.00 euros and 279.00 euros, respectively.
