With the new AOC GAMING U27G4R, AGON by AOC brings a breath of fresh air into the gaming world. The world’s first monitor from the manufacturer with dual-frame technology combines UHD resolution at 160 Hz and lightning-fast FHD performance at 320 Hz in a single display – without any compromises. This is AOC’s targeted response to the needs of modern gamers and content creators who value brilliant image quality and maximum speed. In addition, AOC is expanding its popular G4 series with three more models – the right option for every setup and budget.
- Dual-frame technology: switch between UHD @ 160 Hz and FHD @ 320 Hz
- 1 ms GtG response time and up to 0.3 ms MPRT with Motion Blur Reduction
- DisplayHDR 400, 124.7 % sRGB and 95.9 % DCI-P3 color space coverage
- HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 3.1 hub and comprehensive ergonomics
Two worlds, one monitor: UHD meets high-speed FHD
The U27G4R is AOC’s first model with dual-frame technology – and that’s what makes it so special. Users can switch between two modes depending on the application: The UHD mode with 3840 x 2160 pixels at 160 Hz is available for immersive single-player experiences, detailed content and creative work. However, if you want to make the most of every millisecond in competitive multiplayer titles, you can switch to FHD at a full 320 Hz at the touch of a button. This flexibility not only saves space on the desk, but also ensures a much more efficient setup.
The built-in Fast IPS panel delivers a response time of 1 ms GtG in both modes. If you want absolute responsiveness, you can activate Motion Blur Reduction and achieve 0.5 ms in UHD mode and even 0.3 ms in FHD mode. In combination with Adaptive Sync and support for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, this results in a monitor that is equally suitable for e-sports tournaments and movie nights.
Gaming meets design and comfort
In addition to technical sophistication, the U27G4R also impresses with its ergonomic and stylish design. The monitor has a height-adjustable mount (up to 130 mm) and can be tilted, swiveled and even rotated (pivot function). The matt black surface with red accents blends elegantly into any setup – whether a minimalist home office or RGB-illuminated gaming throne.
Especially important for long sessions: The flicker-free technology, an integrated low blue light mode and the DisplayHDR 400 certification are easy on the eyes and offer vivid colors at the same time. With 124.7% sRGB and 95.9% DCI-P3 color space coverage, the monitor is also ideal for photo and video editing. Thanks to PiP/PbP functionality, several contents can be displayed simultaneously – ideal for multitasking.
Two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB 3.1 hub with four downstream ports are available for connecting consoles, PCs and peripherals. All settings can be easily adjusted via the OSD or the AOC G-Menu software.
Further highlights of the G4 series
In addition to the U27G4R, AGON by AOC expands its range with three new monitors. The CU34G4 is a 34-inch ultrawide curved monitor with Fast VA panel, 180 Hz refresh rate and a high contrast ratio of 2500:1 – ideal for immersive worlds and multitasking.
With the 24G4HA (23.8-inch) and the 27G4HA (27-inch), AOC launches two revised mainstream gaming displays with 200 Hz. Both use Fast IPS panels, have ergonomic feet and integrated speakers and offer solid features at an attractive price with G-SYNC Compatible certification.
