As temperatures rise, the pool season begins again – and with it, regular pool cleaning for many pool owners. The manufacturer Aiper is now officially launching the new Aiper Scuba V3 on the German market. The intelligent pool cleaning robot relies on AI-supported navigation, automatic cleaning schedules and a multi-stage filter system. The aim is to largely automate pool maintenance and significantly reduce the effort involved in everyday life. The robot uses modern sensor technology and adaptive route planning to specifically detect and efficiently remove dirt.

  • AI-supported navigation with automatic adaptation to pool size and soiling
  • Multi-stage filter system with 3-micron fine filter for fine particles and algae
  • Automatic cleaning schedule via app including weather and usage analysis
  • 4,800 GPH suction power and brush system for thorough pool cleaning

Aiper Scuba V3: AI navigation and automatic cleaning schedules

With the Aiper Scuba V3, Aiper is launching a pool cleaning robot on the market that relies more heavily on intelligent automation than many classic pool cleaners. The size and shape of the pool can be entered via the associated Aiper app. Based on this data, the system automatically creates suitable cleaning schedules for the week.

The software not only takes into account the pool geometry, but also past cleaning processes and current environmental conditions. The aim is to make the cleaning effort as efficient as possible without users having to intervene manually on a regular basis.

A central element is the so-called Cognitive AI Navium mode. This system analyzes the pool environment during operation and automatically adjusts the route, suction power and cleaning time. This enables the robot to work in a particularly targeted manner and avoid unnecessary movements.

Navigation is complemented by VisionPath technology. It combines image recognition with dToF sensor technology to detect obstacles and prioritize debris. This allows the robot to target and clean heavily soiled areas, for example. The AI Patrol Cleaning function also ensures that visible soiling is detected and taken into account during route planning.

Powerful cleaning with multi-stage filtration

In addition to navigation, the actual cleaning performance also plays a key role. The Aiper Scuba V3 works with a suction power of up to 4,800 gallons per hour and uses two brushes to remove dirt from the pool floor and walls.

For cleaning along the waterline, the manufacturer relies on the JetAssist system. A lateral water jet stabilizes the movement of the robot so that it can navigate along the edge of the pool in a controlled manner. Leaves, dust and other debris often collect in this area in particular.

The filter system is based on MicroMesh technology and works with several filter stages. A 180-micron filter absorbs coarser particles such as leaves or small stones. In addition, an ultra-fine 3-micron layer is used, which can also filter very small particles such as sand, algae or suspended matter from the water.

The robot should also be as easy to handle as possible in everyday life. Weighing around 8.2 kilograms, the device is comparatively easy to remove from the pool. After the cleaning process, the robot automatically returns to the edge of the pool so that it can be easily removed. The Scuba V3 is charged via a separate docking station.

Another detail relates to data protection: according to the manufacturer, visual data is only processed locally on the device. Image material is neither stored nor transferred to cloud services. According to Aiper, this local data processing has also been TÜV-certified.

Conclusion

With the Scuba V3, Aiper is bringing an intelligent pool cleaning robot to Germany that combines AI navigation, automatic cleaning planning and a powerful filter system. The adaptive route planning and multi-stage filtration in particular are designed to make pool maintenance significantly more efficient. The Aiper Scuba V3 is now available in the manufacturer’s online store and on Amazon and will also be available in stores at a later date. The recommended retail price is 1,099 euros, and the model will be temporarily available for 999 euros at the start of sales.
