Anyone who wants to acquire a new e-bike to match should pay a visit to the online store of the German discounter in the coming week. Because there are new Aldi E-Bike offers, which include various models of the manufacturer Prophete for men and women.

Aldi e-bike offers: Prophete bikes at bargain prices

Kicking off the new Aldi e-bike deals is the Prophete E-SUV 22.ETS.15 28, which will be offered in both a women’s and a men’s version at the absolute best price starting Monday, May 16.

The pedelec’s benefits include a battery system fully integrated into the frame, which powers a 16 Ah battery from AEG with a 36 Volt AEG ComfortDrive motor with 576 Wh. Here the manufacturer versrpicht ranges of up to 200 km.

Prophete trekking e-bike 28 inch from Thursday

The second of Aldi’s e-bike offers, unlike the E-SUV, also finds its way into Aldo Nord stores. This is the comfortable Prophete trekking e-bike 28 inch, which is also available in a women’s and men’s variant.

It is even significantly cheaper than the E-SUV, but also offers features that are not quite as high quality. For example, the battery is not located in the frame and is considerably smaller at 12.8 Ah/36 V. The battery pack is also smaller. As a result, the e-bike “only” has a range of around 120 kilometers.

The 250-watt rear-wheel motor comes from Blaupunkt and provides support up to a maximum of 25 km/h in compliance with the German Road Traffic Act (StVO). There is also an LC display including a speedometer, LED lighting with 100 lux brightness and a rear light with braking function.

The 8-speed gears have a thumb shifter. There are also Continental reflex tires with puncture stop function. The total permissible weight of the 27 kg trekking e-bike is 140 kg.

Prices and availability

Aldi’s e-bike offerings start on May 16, 2022 with the Prophete E-SUV 22.ETS.15 28, which is exclusively available in the online store at a price of 2,199.00 euros. That’s still 26 percent less than the MSRP of 2999.95 euros and marks according to Idealo by far the lowest price for the e-bike.

The Prophete trekking e-bike 28 inch is available from 19.05. in the stores of Aldi Nord at a price of 1,099.00 euros for the men’s variant and the women’s model. Here, the discounter does not name a specific type designation, which makes comparison difficult.
