Alienware: New gaming notebooks m16, m18 and x16 go on sale

Alienware kicked off 2023 by announcing a few new notebooks at CES 2023, and they’re now announcing that the Alienware m16, Alienware m18, and Alienware x16 gaming notebooks are starting sales now.

Alienware m16

One of the notebook novelties marks the Alienware m16, which comes with state-of-the-art hardware like an Intel Core i9-13900HX and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4090 and relies on a 16-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 480 hertz, which optionally resolves with Full HD+ (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) or QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600 pixels).

Alienware m18

The Alienware m18 is a bit bigger, which – as the name already suggests – relies on an 18-inch display. Apart from that, you’ll also find top modern hardware here. You can choose between three different processors for the Alienware m18. The powerful Intel Core i7-13650HX is already available in the basic version. If you want more power, you can alternatively choose the Intel Core i7-13700HX or the Intel Core i9-13900HX.

You can also choose between a higher resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels with 165 hertz or a higher frame rate of 480 Hz with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The latest NVIDIA graphics chips from the RTX 40 series are also used here, up to a maximum of the RTX 4090.

Alienware x16

The third gaming notebook to go on sale is the Alienware x16. Here again with a 16-inch display in a 16:10 aspect ratio, where you can choose between a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels at 165 hertz, a QHD resolution at 240 Hz, or a 1080p FHD resolution at a whopping 480 Hz.

Apart from that, the laptop still has state-of-the-art equipment. At its peak, even the Intel Core i9-13900HK and the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 graphics chips up to the RTX 4090. In addition, there are up to 32 GB of LPDDR5-6000 RAM and a maximum of 4 terabytes of SSD storage.

Prices and Availability

The Alienware m16 will launch on March 09, 2023, with the configuration with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 costing 3,649 euros. However, other configurations are to follow at a later date, which will be offered starting at 2,099 Euros.

At the same time, i.e. also on March 09, the Alienware m18, also with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, will launch at a price of 3,849 euro. Further options will follow here at a later date starting at 2,299 euro.

On the other hand, the Alienware x16 with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 graphics unit is already available for order at a price of 4,049 euro. Other configurations will follow later, and the entry-level model will start at 2,399 Euros.

In the second quarter of 2023, all three gaming notebooks will also be available with the latest processors from AMD. Alienware will announce the prices shortly before availability. As always, the gaming laptops can be configured and ordered in the Dell or Alienware shop.
