Alpenföhn Dolomit: New CPU cooler revealed in three variants

The CPU cooler pros from Alpenföhn are launching a whole three new coolers on the market with the Dolomit series. They differ only minimally in terms of design, but rely on a different TDP limit and features.

With or without RGB lighting

The Alpenföhn Dolomit series is composed of three models: Standard, Advanced and Premium. The first two coolers rely on a single-tower design with four heatpipes, while the Premium variant even has six heatpipes with a diameter of 6 mm. Visually, however, all three CPU coolers rely on a rather plain, matte black finish.

Advanced and Premium rely on the 120 mm version of the Alpenföhn Wing Boost 3 ARGB fan, which can glow with up to 16.8 million colors via two rings embedded in the frame. Only the standard model of the Dolomit has a 92 mm version of the same fan installed, which has to do without lighting.

Accordingly, there are also differences in terms of the TDP limit: the smallest cooler comes in at 160 W, the Advanced at 180 W and the Premium at 210 W. All Alpenföhn Dolomit CPU coolers are compatible with the most common AMD and Intel sockets, and corresponding mounting kits are already included. Additional mounting brackets are also already in the package, so that another fan can be used for a push/pull operation. An asymmetrical design of the cooler is also possible in order to be able to use particularly tall RAM modules.

Prices and availability

The Alpenföhn Dolomit series CPU coolers are available now. Online retailer Alternate already lists the Standard and Advanced models at an MSRP of 37.99 euros and 49,99 Euro. The Premium variant has an MSRP of 59.90 euros and is now also available.
