Design and display: Sporty and functional
The Amazfit Active 2 boasts a sporty design with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display that achieves an impressive peak brightness of 2000 nits. This ensures excellent readability even in direct sunlight, which is particularly beneficial for outdoor athletes. The housing and side buttons are made of stainless steel, with the buttons positioned so that they do not interfere with wrist movements during training.
The Amazfit Active 2 has a 270 mAh battery. Despite the relatively low capacity, the smartwatch can last for around 10 days on a single charge, and around half this time if the sports modes are used more intensively.
Precise health and fitness monitoring
Equipped with the latest BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor, the Active 2 offers accurate and stable measurement of health data. In combination with accelerometer, gyroscope and improved algorithms for heart rate and sleep monitoring, the smartwatch provides detailed insights into various health metrics.
These include sleep quality, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, stress levels, external body temperature and physical and mental fatigue.
Wide range of sports modes and training support
With support for over 160 sports, the Amazfit Active 2 covers a wide range of training needs. Particularly noteworthy are the special modes for HYROX, a growing fitness discipline worldwide. The HYROX Race Mode records all disciplines in the official competition order, while the HYROX PFT (Physical Fitness Test) mode records exercises according to the HYROX training program. In addition, the watch offers free offline maps that make it possible to track routes and positions even without an internet connection – a valuable feature for outdoor athletes.
Integration into the Amazfit ecosystem and advanced features
The Active 2 is seamlessly integrated into the Amazfit ecosystem and offers access to a variety of mini-apps via the Zepp app. These extensions allow users to use functions such as battery life estimation, speed measurement when climbing or the analysis of fat tissue burned during training. The smartwatch is also compatible with various peripheral devices such as heart rate belts and power meters and supports the synchronization of training and health data with external platforms such as Strava, Komoot, Apple Health and Google Fit.
First device with Zepp OS 4.5
The Amazfit Active 2 is the company’s first sports smartwatch to be equipped with the new Zepp OS 4.5. This operating system brings with it numerous improvements, including the intelligent voice assistant Zepp Flow, a revised notification center, a native keyboard for text and voice input as well as accessibility features such as adjustable font sizes and a screen magnifier.
