Zepp Health is rolling out a new software update for the relatively affordable Amazfit Active 3 Premium. In addition to the usual bug fixes, version 3.24.0.1 also introduces several substantial new features that should particularly appeal to active users.
Consistent Data Across Multiple Wearables
Anyone who owns other Amazfit or, more generally, Zepp Health wearables in addition to the Active 3 Premium will benefit from a noticeable improvement: Daily activity data will now be consolidated in the account during synchronization, rather than being tracked separately for each device. This is especially convenient for users who, for example, rely on a more rugged smartwatch for sports but wear a more discreet model in everyday life. Data from one device stored in the cloud will now be automatically synced with other wearables and displayed there as well.
Expanded Stryd Support and Hyrox Pacemaker
In addition, the Amazfit Active 3 Premium now benefits from expanded support for Stryd sensors, which provide precise running performance data, among other things. For fans of Hyrox competitions, there’s also a new virtual pacemaker designed to help users pace themselves during the activity. It’s not yet clear whether the update has already been rolled out worldwide—we’re already familiar with similar phased rollouts from other Amazfit updates, such as the recent one for the Amazfit Bip Max.
The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is still available for purchase on Amazon. Those interested in Amazfit’s current product support efforts will also find a similar update pattern with the recently updated Amazfit Active Max, which features new sport modes and improved GPS performance.
