Amazfit Bip 3 & Bip 3 Pro: Smartwatches launch from 60 euros in Germany

Starting at just 60 Euros, you can get the basic model of the new Amazfit Bip 3 & Bip 3 Pro smartwatches that the manufacturer recently introduced. Both models can now be pre-ordered in Germany and should be delivered shortly.

Amazfit Bip 3 & Bip 3 Pro: info and features

Basically, the Amazfit Bip 3 & Bip 3 Pro share most of the features. They rely on a rectangular TFT LCD touchscreen display with a screen diagonal of 1.69 inches and a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels. The display is curved towards the edge and protected with 2.5D glass, which is also supposed to be protected from fingerprints thanks to a special coating.

The smartwatches measure 44.12 mm x36.49 mm x 9.65 mm and weigh only 33 grams (without the wristband). Amazfit installs a 280 mAh battery that is charged magnetically. In terms of values, one thus positions itself above the in-house Bip U Pro (our review).

A charge takes around two hours, while the Amazfit Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro are supposed to last up to 14 days with normal use. With heavy use, up to 7 days of battery life should still be possible.

Sensors and differences

When it comes to the built-in sensors, the two smartwatches are also very well positioned, especially when measured against the low price. On offer is a BioTracker 2 PPG sensor that keeps an eye on heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2).

SomnusCare also monitors your sleep and assesses its quality during the different sleep stages. There’s also 24-hour stress level measurement complete with breathing exercises and cycle tracker, and 60 different sport modes for running, cycling, tennis, and many other sports.

Swimming is also supported thanks to 5ATM water resistance. However, the Amazfit Bip 3 and Bip 3 Pro differ in terms of GPS. While the cheaper model does not have a GPS module, the Bip 3 Pro does. NFC, on the other hand, is not supported, so mobile payments are not possible, for example.
