With the Amazfit Falcon, the manufacturer’s high-quality and water-resistant smartwatch is finally available in Germany. It features a particularly robust titanium case, more than 150 sports modes and 24/7 health monitoring.

Amazfit Falcon launches in Germany

Following the GTR 4, GTS 4 and GTS 4 Mini models in September, the Amazfit Falcon is the manufacturer’s next smartwatch to launch in this country. The Falcon is the most robust and highest-quality Amazfit model to date and comes with a titanium case.

The watch measures 49.45 mm x 47.2 mm x 12.95 mm and weighs 64 grams. It features a 1.28-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels and a pixel density of 325 ppi, which gets up to 1,000 cd/m² bright. The touchscreen is also very robust with sapphire crystal glass and anti-fingerprint coating.

Premium through and through

In terms of features, the Amazfit Falcon wants to take on premium smartwatches such as the Garmin Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar (our review). A water resistance of 20 ATM is offered, as well as certification according to military standard MIL-ST-810G.

A total of 159 sport modes are already integrated into the Falcon. Thereby, 25 strength training exercises and eight sports are automatically recognized. For an even more detailed recording, external training devices can also be linked to the wearable via Bluetooth.

In combination with Bluetooth headphones, the data can also be transferred during sports and information can be output via the headphones without you having to look at the smartwatch.

Through the Zepp Coach app, you’ll even have an AI-controlled trainer at your side, providing guidance on specific exercises, for example, telling you when to rest, and creating a personalized workout plan tailored to you.

In addition, there is a dual GPS system that receives both L1 and L5 GPS signals to enable accurate tracking outdoors, even in densely populated areas. Already in the test of the Amazfit GTR 4 at the beginning of October, the accuracy of the GPS, as well as almost all features of the smartwatch, could convince us.

Operation, battery and health

The Amazfit Falcon is operated, in addition to the touchscreen, with a whole four control buttons, which are distributed around the clock. The battery has a capacity of 500 mAh and should be able to last up to 14 days with typical use.

Even heavy use is said to be possible for up to 7 days, while the smartwatch can last up to 30 days in battery-saving mode.

For 24/7 health monitoring, the Falcon uses the manufacturer’s BioTracker 3.0, rather than the newer and even more accurate 4.0 version used in the GTR 4. Still, it allows 24-hour monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, as well as stress levels.

Breathing rate can be measured at the touch of a button, and there is also detailed sleep monitoring in conjunction with SomnusCare, which again impressed us in the GTR 4.

The Falcon is also personalized with the help of the Zepp app and uses the Zepp OS operating system, although its selection of apps is quite limited. NFC is also conspicuous by its absence in this model, so mobile payments are not possible with the smartwatch.

Price and availability

The Amazfit Falcon smartwatch can be ordered now at a price of 499.90 euros directly from the manufacturer or at Amazon and is available immediately. Those who buy directly from Amazfit will receive a multi-functional sports bag worth 39.90 euros for free.
