The Anker Soundcore Nebula P1i is coming to Europe – and comes with an exciting feature: fold-out speakers with Dolby Audio. The portable Full HD projector was launched at the beginning of 2026 and has been available in the USA since February. The European launch has now begun: The device is already available in the UK, with other European countries set to follow in early April 2026. A price of €369.99 is expected in Germany.
Anker Nebula P1i: Fold-out speakers as a unique selling point
The most striking feature of the Nebula P1i is the integrated 10-watt stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support. These can be opened up to 90° sideways and 200° vertically so that the sound can be flexibly adapted to the respective installation situation. This is a clever approach, as the integrated sound of many portable projectors tends to sound rather thin. With the P1i, Anker has taken audio much more seriously than with many competing products – even if initial reviews from the USA note that the bass is a little weak.

Google TV and smart setup
Google TV is used as the operating system, which offers direct access to apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video – so a separate streaming stick is not necessary. Thanks to IEA 3.0 technology, setup should be particularly straightforward: Autofocus, automatic keystone correction, object detection and Screen Fit ensure that the picture is perfectly positioned quickly after switching on.
The optics are made entirely of glass and are housed in a fully sealed unit. This is designed to prevent dust from getting inside and impairing the image quality over its service life.
Nebula P1i vs. Nebula P1: The differences
The Nebula P1i complements the larger Nebula P1, which was also released in 2026. Compared to the P1, the P1i is the cheaper model, but also has some limitations. While the P1 shines much brighter at 650 ANSI lumens, the P1i has to make do with 380 ANSI lumens. The speakers also differ: they are detachable on the P1 and foldable on the P1i. At €369.99 in Europe, the P1i is only about half the price of the P1.
Availability and price in Europe
In the UK, the Anker Soundcore Nebula P1i is already available in the official soundcore store for 314 pounds (with a 15% discount on the regular price). In other European countries – probably including Germany – the projector will be launched at the beginning of April 2026 for €369.99. As soon as it is listed on Amazon.de, we will add the link here.
Conclusion: For whom is the Nebula P1i worthwhile?
With the Soundcore Nebula P1i, Anker delivers an interesting portable projector for under 400 euros, which has a real unique selling point with its fold-out Dolby audio speakers. Anyone not expecting bombastic cinema sound, but looking for a flexible Full HD projector with Google TV and uncomplicated setup, should be well served here. The 380 ANSI lumens are easily sufficient for darkened rooms and outdoor evenings, but the projector reaches its limits in bright environments. The lack of an integrated battery also limits its portability somewhat.
