Anycubic Photon Mono M5s available now

Anycubic has developed a new 3D printer that is supposed to score with its impressively high resolution of 12k. We have not seen such a high value in resin-based 3D printers so far. However, the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s also offers an X-accuracy of 19 micrometers, a practical 10.1-inch operating display and modern hardware and software.

Anycubic Photon Mono M5s shakes up the market

In the field of resin-based 3D printers, not much has really happened in recent months. Now, renowned manufacturer Anycubic is setting out to change that and is unceremoniously adding a new device to its popular Photon line.

The Anycubic Photon Mono M5s offers all kinds of features and still seems to be suitable for the masses. This is already ensured by the quite compact construction volume of just 200 x 218 x 123 mm. Thus, the printer doesn’t take up much space, but still offers enough interior space to tackle many different projects.

Anycubic installs a mechanical sensor in its newcomer, which is supposed to work particularly accurately. According to the manufacturer, it is able to detect the area between the leveling module and the printing platform with pinpoint accuracy. Based on the measurement, the 3D printer then makes an automatic adjustment.

This should ensure accurate results. However, this does not mean that the Anycubic Mono M5s works particularly slowly. Rather, the manufacturer is balancing accuracy with speed here. According to the technical data, the 3D printer namely offers a printing speed of a very good 105 mm/h.

Printing errors are effectively avoided

Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to use a 3D printer extensively will know that everything rarely runs perfectly here. Sooner or later, there will be a misprint. To minimize this risk, the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s relies on smart tricks. For example, the device first tests the connection strength of the mechanical recognition module and the exposure screen with every print. On top of that, the Mono M5s analyzes the operating status of the engine.

This should allow for quick detection of hardware problems and error-free prints. The resin detection mode also sounds practical. This is supposed to detect the exact amount needed for the planned print. This effectively avoids half-finished results. If faulty results do occur, the device wants to offer a print status detection function. Here, the 3D printer goes through an extensive analysis, which should identify causes for printing errors.

To eradicate these and ensure the best possible results, the printer also outputs suggested solutions at the same time. The revised software should also ensure fewer errors. Anycubic promises a better hold for the artwork to be printed thanks to a new support algorithm. On top of that, this is supposed to effectively prevent errors on the surface. The manufacturer’s own operating software is supposed to ensure ease of use and simplicity. In Anycubic Photon Workshop 3.1, all kinds of settings can be made.

Price and Availability

You can buy the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s now. Currently, you can still secure the 3D printer at the heavily discounted price of 499.00 euros. The manufacturer states 579.00 Euros as the RRP.
