AOC Agon Pro AG274QGM: mini LED monitor comes with 300 Hz

AOC has introduced a new gaming monitor with its own brand Agon at CES 2022. The AOC Agon Pro AG274QGM is an exciting mini-LED monitor that manages a refresh rate of 300 Hz.

The AOC Agon Pro AG274QGM features

The AOC Agon Pro AG274QGM relies on an IPS panel with mini-LED backlighting. The 27-inch monitor has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 300 Hz.

The monitor’s mini-LED backlight consists of 576 dimmable zones, which earned it VESA Display HDR 1000 certification. HDR content is displayed with 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The manufacturer specifies a gray-to-grey response time of one millisecond, which should also satisfy gamers.

In addition, the AG274QGM offers four USB 3.2 ports to which peripherals like keyboard or mouse can be directly connected. A green USB port is dedicated to the integration Nvidia Reflex Analyzer. Games that use Nvidia’s Reflex API reduce input lag by dynamically synchronizing the GeForce GPUs with the CPU. In addition, Reflex Analyzer can work with supported monitors and input devices to show how much overall latency the system is experiencing.

AOC Gaming GM510: The matching gaming mouse

To match, AOC also presented the AOC Gaming GM510, a mouse that also features Nvidia Reflex. The ultra-light rodent is exclusively aimed at right-handers and features a top that is covered by honeycombs. This results in a particularly low weight of only 58 grams.

The wired input device is equipped with a Pixart PMW3389 sensor and Kailh switches that are supposed to withstand 80 million clicks. This realizes 16,000 DPI, 50 G acceleration and a speed of 400 IPS.

Since the mouse and monitor both support Nvidia Reflex, the GM510 can be connected to the AG274QGM’s dedicated Reflex USB port to provide detailed feedback on system latency.

Pricing and Availability

Both the price and availability of the AOC Agon Pro AG274QGM gaming monitor have yet to be determined. The AOC Gaming GM510 gaming mouse, on the other hand, is already available. The MSRP is 39.90 Euros.
