AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK: Affordable monitor goes on the market
AOC has added a new model to its range of gaming monitors. The AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK is launched under the in-house brand AGON and wants to score with a great price-performance ratio, among other things.
AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK offers a lot for the small budget
With a diagonal of 24 inches, the AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK is of course not the biggest monitor. However, that will certainly be enough for many fans of gaming on the desktop PC. In terms of display technology, the screen expert relies on an IPS panel. This offers a QHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Thus, the gaming monitor should offer a pleasingly sharp picture. However, the resolution is no longer the only important factor for gamers. A high refresh rate is also crucial. With a pleasingly high 165 Hz, the AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK can only complain a little in this respect.
Nvidia G-Sync ensures reliable coordination between graphics card and monitor. You don’t have to worry about annoying screen errors like ghosting or jerks. Thus, you can also enjoy razor-sharp moving images in fast multiplayer games. A response time of 1 ms does the rest. The other data also reads really well in view of the price. Besides a contrast ratio of 1000:1, there is even a color space coverage of sRGB of 108.7 percent. The maximum brightness is 350 cd/m².

Design suits home office
It’s not just the good color space coverage that makes the monitor well suited as a screen for work. On top of that, the chic design definitely fits into the home office as well. This is especially ensured by the thin screen edges. If the 24 inches aren’t enough, the AOC Gaming Q24G2A/BK can also be used as a multi-monitor and two can be placed next to each other.
Once again, the slim design with narrow edges comes into its own here. The ergonomic concept is also beneficial for work. After all, the screen can not only be adjusted in height, but also in angle. Detailed settings for color and gaming performance can then be made via AOC’s in-house software.
