Aqara presents the latest innovations for smart rooms at CES 2026

Aqara is presenting a new generation of its spatial intelligence technologies at CES 2026. The smart home specialist will be demonstrating how spatial intelligence is set to revolutionize the interaction between people, spaces and objects in the future. With new hubs, sensors and smart control devices, Aqara is creating an ecosystem that detects activities, optimizes energy consumption and improves safety and comfort at the same time.

  • Thermostat Hub W200: Adaptive Temperature & Clean Energy Guidance for intelligent heating and cooling control
  • Camera Hub G350: First Matter-certified camera with 9x hybrid zoom and 4K streaming
  • Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400 & Multi-State Sensor P100: Precise spatial perception and motion analysis
  • Smart Lock U400: UWB-supported door lock with Apple Home Key and Matter compatibility

Intelligent centers for adaptive room control

The Thermostat Hub W200 and the Camera Hub G350, which act as central control points for a networked, adaptive room, are at the center of Aqara’s trade fair appearance. Both support Matter 1.5, Thread, Zigbee and dual-band Wi-Fi, allowing them to communicate seamlessly with devices from a wide range of manufacturers.

The new W200 thermostat hub integrates features such as Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance from Apple’s iOS 26. These technologies automatically adjust the room temperature based on location, activity status and the user’s personal comfort profile. At the same time, the system takes grid load and electricity prices into account in order to optimize energy consumption without restricting living comfort. The device also acts as a security control center with a 4-inch touchscreen that can be used to directly control doorbells, cameras and locks.

The Camera Hub G350 is Aqara’s first Matter-certified camera. Equipped with a 4K wide-angle lens and a 2.5K telephoto lens, it enables a 9x hybrid zoom. Thanks to on-device AI, it automatically recognizes people, animals or faces and sends notifications in real time – even without cloud processing. The pan and tilt function allows 360-degree surveillance with minimal latency, making it ideal for both security applications and smart home control.

Sensors with spatial intelligence

To make rooms truly “perceptive”, Aqara combines sensor technology with AI analysis functions. The new Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400 uses mmWave radar and machine learning algorithms to detect movements, postures and presence in real time. It recognizes whether people are standing, sitting or lying down – and can even identify falls. This makes it suitable for applications in smart homes, health centers or care environments. It also provides evaluations of people counting, movement zones and length of stay, which makes it attractive for commercial areas too.

The P100 multi-state sensor complements this system with a 9-axis sensor system for vibration, movement and changes in position. It detects knocking impulses, door movements or glass breakage in real time and also supports the Matter protocol. Thanks to its versatility, the P100 can trigger security alerts as well as control automations that activate lights, heating or devices as soon as activity is detected.

Secure access and smart building management

With the new Smart Lock U400, Aqara is also presenting a door lock solution that integrates the latest security technologies. The model uses Ultra-Wideband (UWB) for precise distance determination and allows keyless opening via Apple Home Key in iPhone or Apple Watch as soon as a person approaches within a radius of around two meters. The lock is also Matter-certified, Aliro-ready and compatible with platforms such as Samsung Wallet, which enables cross-platform use of digital keys.

For professional users and building managers, Aqara is introducing the Aqara Builder platform – a cloud-based system for centralized management of multiple sites. It offers functions such as remote control, project planning, space analysis and remote technical support. This makes intelligent space and energy management accessible and more efficient in the commercial sector too.

Conclusion

Aqara’s presentation at CES 2026 impressively demonstrates how far the integration of spatial intelligence has come in the smart home sector. With innovative products such as the Thermostat Hub W200, the Camera Hub G350 and the new sensors, the company harmonizes intelligent automation, security and energy efficiency. The result is rooms that not only react, but increasingly understand. The new products are set to be launched worldwide in the course of 2026.
