ASUS ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair reminds of exoskeleton

The PC experts from ASUS have presented a new gaming chair. With the ASUS ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair, the Taiwanese manufacturer does not only want to convince with a futuristic design that is supposed to resemble a cyborg according to their own information. On top of that, they want to be true to the name “Ergo” by offering many seat settings as well as a special arm support mode for gamers. Thanks to an acoustic panel, the gaming experience is supposed to be intensified on top of that.

ASUS ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair: design reminiscent of exoskeleton

ASUS is actually a scant two years too late with its latest gaming chair from the ROG series. After all, the design reminiscent of an exoskeleton would have fit perfectly with the release of the AAA game Cyberpunk 2077 in December 2020. But the chair also makes a very good impression on the first pictures at the beginning of 2023. But not only the cool futuristic look should convince buyers of the chair.

On top of that, the Taiwanese company promises “extreme imaginability.” Since pretty much everything can be adjusted, every gamer should be able to experience the perfect seating comfort here. There is even a special mode for mobile gaming on board. This raises the 360-degree rotating armrests by up to 14 cm so that the smartphone can be “played” ergonomically correct.

First unveiled at CES 2023, the ASUS ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair relies on high-quality and durable materials, according to the manufacturer. On the one hand, this includes a strong frame, which ASUS manufactures from aluminum. On the other hand, breathable mesh is supposed to ensure that the back stays free of sweat.

PU foam in the seat pads is again supposed to ensure a comfortable fit even over hours. Not only the buttocks are upholstered, but also the armrests. Besides a special head and lumbar support, both of which are supposed to protect the back, the acoustic panel will probably also attract attention. This is supposed to protect the player from distractions during his sessions.
