Asus shows new products at Computex 2023

Asus used the Computex 2023 to present some upcoming highlights. The PC expert covers pretty much every market segment. From network solutions and monitors to hardware and peripherals – the tech company has almost everything to offer.

New network solutions from Asus

First, Asus showcased its latest networking accessories products at Computex 2023. With ExpertWiFi, the Taiwanese PC experts have, among other things, a powerful new network series for businesses on offer. In addition to the series for commercial users, the company also had LAN solutions for private individuals at the start.

This does not only include the RT-BE96U WiFi 7 router. On top of that, the manufacturer has presented ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro, a WiFi 7 mesh system that is supposed to make speeds of up to 30,000 Mbps possible. The mobile router in the form of the Asus RT-AX57 Go is particularly practical. This is supposed to be able to provide secure and fast Internet at up to 3,000 Mbit/s on vacation or business trips.

Asus aims to win over creative professionals

Jobs in the creative sector are becoming increasingly sought-after. Naturally, the demand for corresponding hardware is growing accordingly. Asus has presented suitable devices with its Creator Solutions series. One of them is the ProArt Display PA32UCXR. It is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor with a mini-LED IPS panel that should be able to offer great contrasts thanks to 2304 different illumination zones. In turn, a 97 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is supposed to ensure vivid and accurate colors.

While the peak brightness is 1,600 nits, the display is capable of an equally very high constant brightness of 1,000 nits. The ProArt Display PA24ACRV is at least semi-professional. This is a 23.8-inch monitor with a QHD resolution. A color space coverage of 95% in DCI-P3 should be a very good value for most people. It is above all the connectivity that stands out positively here.

Thus, the monitor has extensive connectivity options such as DisplayPort (USB-C with 96 Watt Power Delivery), HDMI as well as a practical Usb hub. Matching the perfect monitors for creatives, Asus has also presented the latest version of its Control Panel. This is the in-house software for creatives. Last but not least, Asus presented hardware from the ProArt series. In addition to graphics cards and motherboards that meet the demands of creative professionals, Asus also presented an AiO CPU cooler in the form of the ProArt LC420.

New Gaming Monitors and Hardware

Many are likely to be more interested in the new gaming monitors from Asus than the screens for creatives. For one, there’s the TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A. This is a 27-inch monitor that comes with a Fast IPS panel. This enables a maximum refresh rate of 260 Hz. In combination with Asus Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync, this is supposed to be a perfect fight against negative picture effects like tearing, ghosting and judder. Of course, VRRs like FreeSync and G-Sync are also supported. If that’s not enough for you, you should take a look at the high-end models.

The ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD measures a whopping 49 inches and resolves in 5,120 x 1,440 Hz. A refresh rate of 144 Hz and a proud 0.03 ms response time round off the bulging gaming package. Those who prefer to stick with the classic 16:9 format should take a look at the ROG Swift PG38UQ. The 38-inch 4K monitor resolves in UHD and offers a 144 Hz refresh rate. Fast IPS is supposed to provide for fast moving pictures.

The smallest gaming monitor presented is the ROG Strix XG259QN. It measures 24.5 inches and has a Full HD resolution. The refresh rate is anything but small. The monitor can handle up to 360 Hz. Even 380 Hz is supposed to be possible via overclocking. The latest gaming hardware from Asus was also not to be missed. The manufacturer presented the ROG Matrix RTX 4090. The powerful GPU features the industry’s first liquid metal cooling on the graphics card itself. On top of that, there was a 360 mm cooler on display that is supposed to be able to tease out the maximum performance from the GPU. The GPU boost clock is said to be ahead of the competition, according to Asus.

Gaming keyboard and router

Asus can’t dismiss the focus on gaming out of hand. After all, the in-house ROG series definitely makes up the lion’s share in the area of new launches. The manufacturer has not only thought about the hardware and monitors. Suitable peripherals are also part of the game.

On the one hand, there is the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless. Among other things, Asus equips the wireless keyboard with in-house mechanical ROG NX Snow switches. Furthermore, Asus wants to create blazing fast Internet for gamers who do not want to use LAN cables with the ROG Rapture GT-BE98. WiFi 7 is supposed to be a guarantee for blazingly fast speeds and low latency here.
