ASUS unveils many new monitors and projectors

As part of its in-house “Create the Uncreated” event, ASUS has unveiled several new monitors and projectors in various price ranges. Among them is the exciting world’s first portable 13.3-inch ZenScreen OLED monitor, as well as several new gaming and business monitors.

ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ13AH and MQ16AH

The most exciting of these is the ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ13AH. It is the world’s first portable 13-inch OLED monitor that is ideal for content creation and everyday use. With a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and HDR technology, the 13.3-inch model and the larger 15.6-inch MQ16AH offer an FHD OLED panel (1920 x 1080) with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Delta E < 2 color deviation.

The 13-incher is just 5 mm thin at its thinnest point and weighs only 500 grams, which makes it an ideal companion for mobile use. The energy-efficient MQ13AH also features a built-in proximity sensor that automatically dims the screen when not in use and increases screen brightness when it detects someone is in front of the monitor.

ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ13AH

It features interfaces on both sides for flexibility and easy cable management, and offers a mini HDMI port and three USB Type-C ports for extensive connectivity. Two of the USB-C ports offer DP Alt mode, and another supports charging via USB-C. Furthermore, both models can be connected to a tripod. Also included is a Smart Case that converts into a stand and offers flexible viewing options.

14-inch ProArt Display PA147CDV

Aimed at creative professionals, the new 14-inch ProArt Display PA147CDV monitor also weighs just 740 grams. It features a 1920 x 550 pixel IPS panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio, 10-point touch and MPP 2.0 support. The Calman-approved display offers 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color spaces and Delta E < 2 accuracy for exceptional image representation.

ProArt Display PA147CDV

A handy feature is the ability to connect the monitor to a notebook in a dual-screen setup and customize projects with compatible Adobe software (Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and After Effects) via ASUS Dial and Control Panel. The mechanical dual kickstand allows flexible viewing of the screen in portrait or landscape mode.

ProArt Display PA32UCR and ProArt Display OLED PA32DC

The ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCR is a 32-inch mini-LED-backlit monitor that supports 4K HDR, 576-zone local dimming, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000. It features a 10-bit color space and Quantum Dot technology to provide 99% Adobe RGB and > 95% DCI-P3 color spaces for exceptional color fidelity. It also offers a unique Delta E < 1 color difference and supports multiple HDR formats, including HDR10 and HLG.

With the help of the built-in hardware calibration technology, there is also the possibility to ensure color consistency and uniform brightness. In addition, the ASUS-exclusive ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette features allow for easy and convenient color management with six-axis color temperature and gamma settings.

Corresponding calibration technology is also offered by the ProArt Display OLED PA32DC OLED monitor. It is a 31.5-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) HDR monitor with an RGB stripe OLED panel. Features include a 0.1 ms response time, true 10-bit color, 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCR and ProArt Display OLED PA32DC

The ProArt Display OLED PA32DC is VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black aligned and features ASUS Smart HDR technology to support multiple HDR formats and PQ curves. To maintain color accuracy, an integrated colorimeter can be used to check and warn of color shifts. The colorimeter can also be used for SDR and HDR calibration with the included ProArt 2.0 calibration software, which offers seamless integration with third-party software such as Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS.

ProArt Projector A1 and ZenBeam E2

ASUS is also delivering the world’s first Calman-approved professional projector with the ProArt Projector A1. It is factory pre-calibrated for Delta E < 2 color accuracy and delivers 98% sRGB and 98% Rec. 709 color spaces. The light source has a 30,000-hour lifespan and 3000 ANSI lumens of light output to project vivid FHD images.

The ProArt Projector A1 offers wireless mirroring with iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices. It features four-corner and 2D keystone correction and 1.2x zoom to project large images in tight spaces. Integration with ASUS ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette features allows quick access to settings and color parameters.

The ZenBeam E2 portable LED projector is much more compact. It is powered by a 300-lumen LED light source and features a 5-watt speaker. It is also capable of projecting bright 100-inch WVGA (854 x 480) images from a distance of 2.5 meters.

The ZenBeam E2 offers wireless mirroring for Android, iOS and Windows devices. The wireless Auto Portrait mode uses the built-in G-sensor to quickly switch between portrait and landscape modes. In addition, this mode automatically removes the black sidebars that appear when mirroring content from mobile devices in portrait mode. It also has an HDMI port, a USB Type-A port for the WiFi dongle and for charging, and a headphone jack. With the help of the built-in battery, the ZenBeam E2 is said to offer up to four hours of projection time and can be used as a power bank to charge mobile devices.

Gaming Monitor TUF Gaming VG30VQL1A

The TUF Gaming VG30VQL1A is a 30-inch WFHD (2560 x 1080) 1500R curved gaming monitor with an ultra-fast 200 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time (MPRT) for ultra-immersive gameplay. It features exclusive Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology and AMD FreeSync Premium to eliminate ghosting and tearing. HDR 10 and 127 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut are also on board.

ASUS BE27ACSBK

The last newly introduced model from ASUS is the BE27ACSBK business monitor. This one relies on a 27-inch QHD IPS display (2560 x 1440) with an integrated 2-million-pixel FHD webcam (1920 x 1080) and microphone array, making it the ideal companion for video conferencing and distance learning. The integrated webcam tilts (-10°, +10°) and swivels (-135°, +180°), so the user is always in the picture regardless of their position.

It also features two integrated microphones complete with AI Noise Cancelling technology, which eliminates almost all background noise for an optimal communication experience. In addition, the built-in webcam has Face Auto Exposure technology that automatically detects faces and optimizes images for better video conferencing.

ASUS BE27ACSBK

In terms of connectivity, the ASUS BE27ACSBK comes in a variety of flavors, with a choice of DisplayPort-over-USB-C with an 80-watt Power Delivery, two DisplayPorts, an HDMI port, a USB hub, and two 2-watt stereo speakers. It also features a 150 mm height-adjustable ergonomic stand with swivel (±180°), tilt (±90°) and tilt (-5°, -35°) adjustment.
