Asus presented the new VivoWatch 6 Plus at COMPUTEX 2026. The smartwatch builds on the health functions of the previous VivoWatch series and combines them with higher-quality materials and new analysis tools. In particular, the integrated blood pressure measurement, ECG functions and advanced health analyses are intended to set the VivoWatch 6 Plus apart from many competitor models. At the same time, Asus has opted for a more robust design with a titanium case and sapphire glass to position the smartwatch in the premium segment.

  • 1.43-inch AMOLED display with sapphire glass cover
  • Titanium case for greater stability and lower weight
  • Integrated ECG and blood pressure measurement
  • New AI functions with sleep, breathing and gait analysis

Asus VivoWatch 6 Plus significantly expands health functions

The focus of the new VivoWatch 6 Plus is clearly on health monitoring. Asus has once again integrated an ECG function to detect possible cardiac arrhythmia and a blood pressure measurement function similar to the Huawei Watch D2 directly on the wrist. This makes the smartwatch one of the few models on the market that combines both functions in one device.

However, as with comparable wearables, the measured values are only intended as a guide. Medical diagnoses or certified measuring devices cannot be replaced by a smartwatch. Instead, the recorded data is suitable for monitoring developments over a longer period of time and detecting abnormalities at an early stage.

New features include extended analysis functions that go beyond classic sleep tracking. The VivoWatch 6 Plus now also records sleep-breathing movements and gait patterns. This should make long-term health trends visible. Based on this data, Asus promises deeper insights into potential health risks and chronic stress.

The functions presented seem plausible, as modern sensor technology and AI-supported analysis are increasingly being integrated into smartwatches. In particular, the analysis of sleep patterns, movement patterns and vital data is currently one of the most important areas of development in the wearable market.

In addition to the health functions, Asus has also significantly revised the design. The housing is made of a titanium alloy and is therefore more durable and lighter than many conventional smartwatch housings. The display is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass, which is often used in the premium segment in particular.

The new AMOLED display grows to 1.43 inches, offering more space for health data, notifications and fitness information. The silver titanium bezel also gives the smartwatch a more premium appearance.

Another focus is on the new AI health functions. Asus has integrated a personalized wellness coach that continuously evaluates health data and provides feedback in real time. The aim is to support users in leading a healthier lifestyle and to make the large amount of data collected easier to understand.

This approach is in line with the current trend in the wearable market. While smartwatches used to primarily record fitness data, they are increasingly developing into digital health assistants that use artificial intelligence to provide personalized recommendations. The VivoWatch 6 Plus is thus positioning itself as a comprehensive health wearable that goes far beyond traditional activity trackers.

Conclusion

With the VivoWatch 6 Plus, Asus is expanding its smartwatch series with a premium model that focuses on health monitoring and AI-supported analysis. The combination of titanium housing, sapphire glass, ECG, blood pressure measurement and new health functions makes the smartwatch one of the most interesting wearable innovations at COMPUTEX 2026. Asus has not yet published any information on price, availability or other technical details.
