Asus ZenBook Duo 14 available now

Asus was able to impress its fans with the new ZenBook Duo 14 at this year’s CES. However, interested buyers did not have to wait long. Now you can buy the exciting notebook with two displays on board.

Available now

Asus has created a somewhat different notebook with the ZenBook Duo 14. Potential customers find this all the more exciting. As of now, you can secure the notebook with a dual display. Asus not only installs a 14-inch main display here, but also a second display that lives up to the term “ScreenPad Plus”. The practical secondary display measures 12.6 inches and has a Full HD resolution. Thanks to its touch function, it can be conveniently used as a control center. Especially creative users who focus on image editing or video editing should experience a convincing workflow here.

Not only the displays are convincing. On top of that, Asus has installed a lot of technology. The hardware manufacturer relies on the power of an 11th generation Intel Core processor. An Nvidia GeForce MX450 laptop GPU is supposed to provide the corresponding graphics performance. Although the notebook can shine with powerful components, it is by no means a heavyweight – quite the opposite. The ZenBook Duo 14 weighs just 1.6 kg.

Perfect for multitaskers

The manufacturer promises double display power with the Asus ZenBook Duo 14. The added display area of the ScreenPad Plus is not only supposed to simplify multitasking. Beyond that, Asus creates a unique design here. Although it is a compact notebook, the smooth transition between the main and secondary display gives the impression of having a huge unified display in front of you. The additional display should pay off especially in workflow. For example, if you open a document on the main screen in full screen, you can comfortably continue to use the second display. For example, you can open other applications or use various apps here.

Asus relies on a practical mechanism when opening the notebook. As soon as the user opens it, the display angles itself to 7 degrees. This is not only supposed to improve the readability. The touch-sensitive display can also be operated better. Thanks to the angle, Asus also achieves a smooth transition from the main to the secondary display. But the notebook’s inner workings and overall performance also benefit from this. Because of the angled display, there are better ventilation conditions for the powerful hardware inside the device.

Both displays with a lot of power

Although it is “only” a secondary display, the ScreenPad Plus can also keep up with the powerful specs of the main display. Besides a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD), both screens offer a touch function. They can also convince with a high brightness of up to 400 cd/m². When it comes to color accuracy, the main screen offers a bit more performance. It covers the sRGB color space by 100 percent. It also offers an eye-friendly blue light reduction. Asus has had this certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Small but mighty

For a 14-inch notebook in these slim dimensions, the Asus ZenBook Duo has quite a bit under the hood. It is a real all-rounder. The notebook can score with a combination of high performance and long battery life. Accordingly, it has also been verified for Intel’s Evo platform. If you opt for the maximum configuration, you get a high-performance Intel Core i7 1165G7 and a GeForce MX450 laptop GPU. Alternatively, you can also opt for integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. Intel’s processor gets support from up to 32 GB RAM. Blazing fast storage up to a maximum size of 1 TB is supposed to be promised by the built-in SSD.

Much comfort on the go

Asus manufactures a notebook with the ZenBook Duo 14 that is perfect to take to work or university. The reason for this is not only the low weight and the slim dimensions. On top of that, the device can be used perfectly on the lap. The ErgoLift design is supposed to ensure this. Not only does the secondary display automatically tilt. In addition, the keyboard also moves into an ergonomic position.

This not only allows you to type better, but also improves the cooling of the entire system. The various ports are also practical for on the go. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports are particularly praiseworthy. The mobility package is rounded off by a battery life of up to 17 hours. Thus, the notebook should be able to last two average workdays in normal use.

Price and availability

If you fancy the new ZenBook Duo 14 from Asus, you can strike now. The unique notebook with a practical dual display can be grabbed for a price starting at 1,699 euros.
