Berlin-based network specialist AVM will be presenting its latest FRITZ! products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. Under the motto “FRITZ! Connects”, the company will be presenting innovative solutions for ultra-fast Internet via 5G and fiber optics as well as powerful Wi-Fi mesh from March 3 to 6.
Highlights of the new FRITZ! products:

FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS: Fiber optic router with support for XGS-PON standard and speeds of up to 10 Gbps.

FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS: High-speed fiber optic router
The FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS is specially designed for the XGS-PON standard and enables data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s via fiber optics. Equipped with Wi-Fi 7, a 10 GBit/s WAN/LAN port and comprehensive functions for telephony and smart home, it offers a future-proof solution for digital applications in the home network.
FRITZ!Box 4690: Flexible WLAN router for fiber optic modems
AVM presents the FRITZ!Box 4690 for households with an existing fiber optic modem. This router has a 10 GBit/s WAN and a 10 GBit/s LAN interface as well as three additional 2.5 GBit/s LAN ports. With high-end Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 4690 ensures optimum Wi-Fi distribution and offers functions such as VPN, smart home and telephony.
FRITZ!Box 6860 5G: Fast Internet via mobile communications
The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G, which is already available, enables fast Internet connections via 5G and LTE with data rates of up to 1.3 Gbit/s. Thanks to its robust design, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With Wi-Fi 6 and DECT base station for telephony and smart home, it offers a wide range of applications.
New Wi-Fi 7 repeaters: FRITZ!Repeater 1700 and 2700
To extend the Wi-Fi range, AVM presents the Wi-Fi 7-capable FRITZ! repeaters 1700 and 2700. The FRITZ! repeater 2700 offers a gross data rate of up to 5,760 Mbit/s with four MIMO streams in the 5 GHz band, while the FRITZ! repeater 1700 achieves up to 2,880 Mbit/s with two MIMO streams. Both models are compatible with routers from other manufacturers and can be used flexibly.
FRITZ!Mesh Set 4200: Powerful Mesh WLAN system
The new FRITZ!Mesh Set 4200 consists of the proven FRITZ!Repeater 3000 AX and is available as a two- or three-pack. It is suitable for connection to any FRITZ!Box, other routers or directly to a fiber optic modem. With Wi-Fi 6, the set provides flexible and scalable mesh Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home.
