The German premium PC component manufacturer be quiet! introduced two new models in its Pure Base 501 case series on February 25, 2025: the Pure Base 501 LX and the Pure Base 501 DX. These new additions are aimed at users who value attractive ARGB lighting and versatile functions.
Key features of the new models:

Pure Base 501 LX: Maximum ARGB lighting and cooling performance
The Pure Base 501 LX is based on the design of the Pure Base 501 Airflow Window, but offers extended lighting options. With three 120 mm Light Wings LX fans at the front and one 140 mm LX fan at the rear, it not only ensures impressive lighting effects, but also efficient cooling. The included hub enables the control of up to six ARGB components and PWM fans, which facilitates integration into existing systems.
Pure Base 501 DX: Modern design meets functionality
For users who appreciate a modern appearance, the Pure Base 501 DX offers a newly designed front with ARGB lighting that extends into the interior of the case. Three pre-installed Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans ensure excellent cooling performance and air circulation. The combination of design and functionality makes this model particularly attractive for gamers and PC enthusiasts.
Compact size with high flexibility
Both models support motherboards in the ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX form factors. It is possible to install up to three fans or radiators with a size of up to 360 mm at the front. They also offer space for high-end graphics cards and optionally allow vertical installation of the graphics card. A decoupled double HDD cage provides flexible storage options, while well thought-out cable management ensures a tidy interior. A USB 3.2 Gen. 2 Type C port on the front rounds off the features.
Availability and prices
The new housing models will be available in stores from March 11, 2025 and come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The recommended retail prices are as follows:
