With the AquaSense 2 Ultra, Beatbot is launching nothing less than the world’s first fully AI-controlled 5-in-1 pool cleaner. Thanks to HybridSense AI Mapping, the device combines an AI camera with infrared and ultrasonic sensors to navigate through the pool with millimeter precision. This means that not only floors, but also walls, water lines and even surface dirt are cleaned in a targeted and seamless manner.
The AI Targeted Debris Detection function is particularly exciting: the AI actively detects accumulations of dirt and dynamically adapts its cleaning strategy. Together with the Adaptive Path Planning technology, which works efficiently even in complex, multi-level pools, the result is an almost autonomous cleaning process. When the job is done, the appliance floats to the surface – for easy removal without having to submerge.
Beatbot also sets standards in terms of environmental friendliness: the Ultra version uses a chitosan-based clarifier made from crab shells that efficiently binds micro and suspended particles – without any aggressive chemicals.
AquaSense 2 Pro with power drive and app control
The AquaSense 2 Pro is slightly cheaper, but hardly less innovative. This model also combines five cleaning modes – from surface to deep cleaning – and offers exceptional maneuverability in the water with nine motors, including two side propellers. Although it does not have the AI camera technology of the Ultra model, the CleverNav™ Smart Navigation technology with 22 sensors enables precise cleaning even without an AI camera. The AquaSense 2 Pro also offers five versatile cleaning modes – from surface to deep cleaning.
It is conveniently controlled via a smartphone app. Schedules, cleaning modes and location data can also be managed remotely. The built-in 13,400mAh battery provides up to 11 hours of runtime, especially in surface mode – an outstanding performance in the segment.

The AquaSense 2 is ideal for anyone looking for a powerful entry into the world of smart pool cleaning. As a 3-in-1 cleaner, it focuses on cleaning the floor, walls and water lines. With a suction power of 5500 gallons per hour and a cleaning time of up to 4 hours thanks to the 10,000mAh battery, it is hardly inferior to more expensive models.
The practical Smart Surface Parking is also impressive here: once the cleaning cycle is complete, the robot automatically moves to the water surface and can be conveniently removed.
Vision of the future: self-charging systems in sight
However, Beatbot is not satisfied with the current status and gave us a glimpse into the future at the presentation event in Hamburg:
A model with a fully automatic docking station is already planned for the next generation of devices. This will enable the robot to get out of the water, recharge and empty itself independently – fully automated and ready for the next use. This would set Beatbot even further apart from the competition and offer a virtually maintenance-free cleaning system.
