Beatbot Sora 70: Five-time award-winning pool robot now officially available

The Beatbot Sora 70 is a new high-tech pool robot on the market that has already attracted attention even before it goes on sale. The device won five awards at CES 2026 and promises fully automated pool cleaning in a single compact system. The robot was developed for pool owners who want to clean with as little manual effort as possible. With intelligent navigation, powerful suction power and multi-zone cleaning, the Sora 70 is designed to clean all pool areas independently.

  • Cleans the water surface, walls, waterline and floor in a single pass
  • JetPulse™ dual-jet technology actively guides dirt to the suction opening
  • SonicSense™ ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles and pool structures
  • Up to 7 hours running time and large 6-liter dirt container

Beatbot Sora 70 provides complete pool cleaning in one device

The new Beatbot Sora 70 pool robot was developed with the aim of performing all pool cleaning tasks autonomously. While many pool robots can only clean individual areas or require additional accessories, the Sora 70 combines several cleaning modes in one device.

The core of the technology is the JetPulse™ double jet surface cleaning. Unlike traditional pool robots, which often push floating debris to the side, this technology generates targeted streams of water. As a result, leaves, insects and other particles are actively guided to the suction opening and picked up efficiently.

The robot covers four central cleaning zones:

  • Water surface
  • pool walls
  • waterline
  • Pool floor

The robot can also clean shallow platforms or so-called beach areas. These areas with a water depth of up to 20 centimetres are automatically detected and treated as normal cleaning areas. This is a practical advantage, especially for modern pool designs with shallow entry elements.

Navigation is handled by the SonicSense system, which works with ultrasonic sensors. These detect obstacles, height differences or transitions in the pool. This allows the robot to adapt to different pool shapes and layouts while avoiding collisions.

With a suction power of up to 6,800 GPH (around 25.7 m³ per hour), the Sora 70 is also powerful enough for larger pools with an area of up to 300 square meters.

Autonomous operation with long running time and automatic parking system

In addition to cleaning performance, the Beatbot Sora 70 focuses heavily on convenience and autonomy. The appliance has been designed to require as little intervention as possible during the cleaning cycle.

An integrated 10,000 mAh battery enables long running times:

Cleaning mode Running time
Floor cleaning (ECO mode) up to 5 hours
Surface cleaning up to 7 hours

This means that even larger pools can often be cleaned in a single pass. The integrated 6-liter dirt container also reduces the number of emptying cycles required. This can significantly reduce maintenance costs, especially for pools with a lot of leaves or pollen.

The automatic parking function is also practical: as soon as the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery level is low, the robot automatically moves to the edge of the pool. This makes it much easier to remove the appliance from the water. With a weight of 10.4 kilograms and a fully waterproof design in accordance with the IP68 standard, the robot is also designed for permanent use in water.

Conclusion

The Beatbot Sora 70 combines several pool cleaning functions in a single device and relies on automated navigation, strong suction power and long battery life. Of particular interest is its ability to clean the surface as well as the floor, walls and shallow pool areas – without additional accessories. The pool robot has been available since March 6, 2026 and starts at an introductory price of 1,499 euros in the colors lavender blue and ocean blue.
