The freshly announced beyerdynamic SPACE is a new speakerphone that aims to be the ideal companion thanks to voluminous sound for music playback and strong speech intelligibility for calls and meetings, as well as a compact design.

According to the manufacturer, the new Speakerphone beyerdynamic SPACE relies on the“globally appreciated beyerdynamic sound”. Voices are reproduced crystal clear during phone calls or meetings. In music playback, the SPACE unfolds its full potential and should convince with a balanced sound image, regardless of the music genre.

For the respective application, the flexible speakerphone automatically switches between Voice Mode for intelligible voice reproduction and Music Mode for lively music reproduction. Thanks to True Wireless technology, two beyerdynamic SPACE can also be paired if desired for a spatial stereo representation of music and sound.

Thanks to years of experience in microphone development and the novel 360° SMART MIC TECHNOLOGY, speech intelligibility and freedom of movement should be equally convincing during professional or private phone calls. The microphone system with four MEMS microphones automatically detects whether it is voices or interfering signals and fades out unwanted reverberation, echoes or feedback.

In addition, the volume of the voice is adjusted independently. Thanks to full-duplex audio, several people in a room should be able to speak and be heard at the same time without sound dropouts or a cut-off voice.

Compact and flexible

The design of the beyerdynamic SPACE also cuts a fine figure and was inspired by modern interior design, according to the manufacturer. With a contrast of matte surfaces and high-quality antibacterial textile fabric, it blends harmoniously into its surroundings.

Three different color options are available: Nordic Grey, Charcoal and Aquamarine. The illuminated LED control panel provides clear access to all important functions. The beyerdynamic SPACE is particularly flexible thanks to its compact shape and long battery life of up to 20 hours, which enables quick and spontaneous changes of location.

The beyerdynamic SPACE has broad compatibility and connects quickly and easily to laptops, smartphones or tablets via USB or Bluetooth. Thus, it is quickly integrated into communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. For extended remote compatibility between Speakerphone and communication apps, an optionally available USB Bluetooth adapter is available.
