BitFenix Prodigy M 2022: Cult case returns to the present with facelift

BitFenix announces the return of the popular Prodigy PC case, whose predecessors Prodigy and Phenom were the forefathers of compact cases in 2013. In doing so, they give the BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 a complete facelift without sacrificing the characteristic aesthetics of the original and equip the case with functional updates.

Compact case for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards

The Prodigy M 2022 offers a wide range of configuration options. The interchangeable panel on the back allows either mounting a 120 mm fan or installing the graphics card vertically. The cover on the top of the Prodigy M 2022 can also be replaced: There is a choice of a magnetic dust filter for the use of a dual radiator or an acrylic glass panel that allows a view into the inner workings of the case from above.

The PC case is designed for flexibility. Either fans or SSDs and hard drives can be attached to the bottom of the case, and in turn either two 3.5-inch or three 2.5-inch drives can be attached to the vertical bracket, depending on which side is used.

The entire interior is innovatively designed and features a mainboard tray that is rotated by 180 degrees. The mainboard itself may have a maximum Micro-ATX format, also the Micro-ATX format is supported. Large ATX power supplies can also be used. Depending on the installed hardware, up to seven fans of different sizes can be installed, at six places even models with a size of 120 mm. Thanks to its width, the Prodigy M 2022 offers space for CPU coolers up to 190 mm high. This means that even massive tower coolers can be accommodated in the case.

A feast for ARGB fans

Depending on the version, two, or even four fans are already pre-mounted. With the BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 ARGB, not only the fans shine. Here, two ARGB LED strips with a length of 30 cm each are additionally installed, which can also be controlled with the included controller.

In addition, they are compatible and can be synchronized with the systems of various manufacturers such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 and ASRock Polychrome Sync. The BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 and M 2022 ARGB appear in black and white respectively. They come with dimensions of 359 × 250 × 404 mm (L x W x H), bringing them to a capacity of 36.26 liters.

Prices and Availability

Both models of the BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 PC case are available for pre-order now. The regular variant of the case has an MSRP of 99.90 euros. The BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 ARGB is available at an MSRP of 119.90 euros. Additionally available is a color-coordinated line of extension cables for flexible configuration options. Here, prices range from 7.90 euros to 19.90 euros. Complete kits are available for 49.90 Euros.
