Biwin has decided to launch Biwintech, a new brand for certain storage products focused on high-performance hardware for media professionals, gamers, and people who work in the home office. Biwintech will launch with two M.2 SSDs.
Brand creation is meant to accommodate expanded portfolio
The establishment of the new brand is primarily intended to accommodate the storage specialist’s rapidly growing portfolio. In recent years, Biwin has introduced numerous new storage technologies and also offered its prospective customers an increasing number of storage sizes to choose from. The new brand is now also intended to contribute to greater clarity and a clearer separation of products for different target groups. Biwintech will take over the following products, which will no longer be sold under the main brand:
- Memory modules
- SATA SSDs
- M.2 PCIe SSDs
- portable data storage devices
- Flash cards
The two SSDs SX/NX700 and SX/NX500 are the start of the new brand in this regard. Both are available in a version with DRAM cache as well as in a version without DRAM cache. Both SSDs will be available with capacities between 256 GB and 4 TB. Further products are to follow.
