Blackview Tab 16 launches with 2K display and strong performance

With the Blackview Tab 16, the manufacturer followed the Tab 15 last winter with a new 11-inch tablet that realizes a strong configuration at a fair price. Like the Tab 15, it is supposed to be a real all-rounder and suitable for entertainment, online lessons, video conferencing and much more.

The Blackview Tab 16 in detail

The Blackview Tab 16 comes with a Unisoc T616 octa-core processor, which is supposed to work 17 percent faster than its predecessor while consuming 30 percent less energy. Thus, it delivers even more performance for applications, games and much more.

It is supported by up to 14 GB of RAM and 256 GB of system storage, whereby the latter can be expanded by up to one terabyte via microSD card. The Tab 16 is only 7.95 mm thick and weighs just 533 grams.

Under the hood is a 7,680 mAh battery that is supposed to last up to 18 hours for everyday tasks.

Bright 2K display

For the Blackview Tab 16, the manufacturer relies on an 11-inch 2K display that boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. It has also been certified by TÜV Rheinland and emits particularly little blue light – media consumption and working is correspondingly easy on the eyes.

Cameras and PC mode

The Blackview Tab 16 also features improved cameras. It is equipped with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, which should deliver good image quality and also perform very well in video conferencing.

The front camera also supports AI-controlled face unlocking to unlock the tablet in fractions of a second.

A PC mode is also offered, which is supposed to turn the tablet into a real notebook replacement. Among other things, various apps are available here, while four built-in speakers realize a convincing 3D stereo sound.

Widevine L1 also allows to access movies and series with the best picture quality in the various streaming services. Doke OS P 3.0 is used as the operating system, which is based on Android 12. A WPS set with Office programs is also supplied by the manufacturer right away.
