Bluetti EB55: Portable charging station now available in Europe

Manufacturer Bluetti announces that the EB55 mobile charging station is now available in Europe. The compact Power Station offers 537 watt-hours of power and is equipped with a variety of ports to power different devices.

Power on the go

According to the manufacturer, the Bluetti EB55 is aimed at campers, among others, or represents the ideal companion for all those who have been hit by natural disasters. Thanks to 537 Wh and 700 Watts of power, it supplies all devices with energy. The device weighs around 7.5 kg and is quite compact with dimensions of around 28 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm (L x W x H).

The EB55 features a fireproof cover, rubberized feet on the bottom that are supposed to guarantee a secure grip, and offers a convenient handle for easy transport. It is offered in blue and gray colors. It also features a power-saving Eco mode that can be used when only low-power devices are connected.

In terms of ports, there’s a lot on offer: 5 USB-A ports, a USB-C port with 100W of power, two 12V 10A power ports, and a DC car port, among others. In addition, the Power Station is capable of wirelessly charging devices according to the QI standard with up to 15 watts of power.

Charging options

There are several options to choose from for charging the Bluetti EB55. On the one hand, the Power Station can be powered with the included 200-watt power adapter and is fully charged in about 3.5 hours.

Optionally, a 12V car adapter for the cigarette lighter is available, which supplies the charging station with power in 3-6 hours. Generators also recharge the EB55, as do the individually available SP200 solar panels.

The built-in lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFeP= 4) is one of the longest lasting and most durable batteries on the market. Combined with the built-in BMS controller, the station is said to last over 2,500 charge cycles before capacity drops to 80 percent of its original value.

The Bluetti EB55 Power Station is available now from the manufacturer’s website in Europe. The MSRP is 559.00 euros. An SP200 solar panel can also be purchased there for 499.99 euros, saving 59.00 euros in the bundle. The charging station will also be offered on Amazon shortly.
