Buy Backforce One: Price goes up starting August 22

If you’re now thinking about buying the Backforce One, however, you should be quick. Because as the manufacturer has revealed, the price will increase by 100 Euros from August 22.

So, you still have about a week to secure the One at a price of 499.00 Euros before the manufacturer calls up an MSRP of 599.00 Euros from August 22. It’s relatively clear why the price is rising: The prices for energy for manufacturing have increased significantly in the last few months.

After all, chairs from Backforce are manufactured entirely in Germany and rely on all the highest quality Made in Germany. So good, in fact, that the manufacturer gives a full 10-year warranty on its gaming chairs without gnashing its teeth. You won’t get that from any other manufacturer.

Backforce also revealed that the Backforce One has already been subsidized in recent months and should have been priced higher a long time ago, but the manufacturer wanted to bring out a cheaper entry-level model first, the Backforce V, to cover that market as well.

Backforce One Plus price rises by 50 euros

The manufacturer’s top model, the Backforce One Plus – at the same time also for us the best gaming chair 2022 in the test – will also be 50 euros more expensive.

Starting August 22, you’ll pay 699.00 euros for the top model instead of 649.00 euros as before. If your budget allows it and you really want to get the maximum comfort out of it, you should quickly buy it at the lower price.

Regardless of the price: With the One Plus, you get a quality and seating comfort that is second to none. The gaming chair features 5D armrests that can even be folded away, a lumbar support that can be flexibly adjusted in depth and height, a molded wood plate in the backrest, as well as seat depth and tilt adjustment.

All of these features led us to give the coveted Platinum Award to a gaming chair for the first time in our test, with a rating of 95 out of 100 points.

We were also particularly taken with the customization options, thanks to which the Backforce One Plus caters equally well to users between 150 cm and 192 centimeters tall. And that, if you take a look around the market, is a range that no one else offers.

Backforce V: New entry-level premium gaming chair

Coinciding with Backforce’s price adjustment, a third model is making its way into the manufacturer’s portfolio, which incidentally draws on Interstuhl’s 60-plus years of expertise.

The Backforce V was officially announced yesterday evening and positions itself as an entry-level model in the premium segment for gaming chairs at a price of 399 euros below the Backforce One and Backforce One Plus models.

At the same time, the V scores with a special ergonomics that optimally adapts to your spine. However, unlike the One Plus, the lumbar support is not adjustable. Visually, the Backforce V is a bit more modern and relies on a high-quality fabric made of recycled material with a chic honeycomb pattern.

A few cost-cutting measures had to be taken to realize the lower price. Even though the base is only made of plastic and not aluminum, the quality should not suffer. The manufacturer also provides a full 10-year warranty for the Backforce V.

However, the savings are not made on you as the end customer, but mainly on delivery – which you benefit from again: Since the headrest is not pre-assembled during shipping, the packaging is smaller. This means that a shipping company is no longer needed for delivery, which lowers the price.
