CES 2023: Jackery expands its Pro Series Powerstations

CES 2023 is not only characterized by classic consumer electronics in the form of gaming notebooks and TVs with the latest screen technology. The trend of power stations will also leave its mark on the trade show in Las Vegas. So it’s no surprise that Jackery is represented with new products. The Jackery Solar Generators 1500 Pro and 3000 Pro are expected to expand the portfolio. One cool new feature should be protection from bad weather conditions.

Jackery doubles its Pro series

So far, Jackery’s Pro series was composed of two different models, which differed from each other mainly in the disciplines of connectivity, battery capacity and performance. We were able to test that the two previously available power stations are already very good mobile energy storage devices in our test of the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro (test) including solar panels, also representative of the 2000 Pro itself. At CES 2023, Jackery has now announced the 1500 Pro and 3000 Pro, which should not only feature a different battery capacity. More specifically, the 1500 Pro offers 1,512 Wh while the 3000 Pro can store a total of 3,024 Wh. In terms of output power, they again offer 1,800 Watts and 3,000 Watts respectively.

Even more exciting, given the “Solar Generator” flagship, is certainly the input power. Via solar energy can be charged with up to 1,200 watts. This ensures that you should be able to fully charge the small model within just two hours. It should take between three and four hours for the 3000 Pro, which is also an impressive value. Of course, you shouldn’t forget that the specifications are usually based on optimal conditions. If the sky is cloudy or the season only allows charging within many hours, charging via the household socket is of course also possible. Here, the 1500 Pro should also need two hours. The 3000 Pro, on the other hand, is somewhat faster than charging via solar energy with 2.5 hours.

Other highlights from CES 2023:

Solar Generator 3000 Pro comes as a rolling case

In the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro, most of the connectors had to offer a cover, which should provide protection against the penetration of water and dirt. With the new solar generators, the manufacturer goes one step further. Thus, it provides protection against dust and water according to IP67. This means that, at least in theory, you can even immerse the power station in water for a short time without it suffering any damage.

The difference in battery capacity naturally results in a significant difference in size and weight. While the Solar Generator 1500 Pro can be carried, this is probably not possible with the 3000 Pro over longer distances without serious back problems as a result. That’s why Jackery has given the large-sized power station wheels and an extendable handle. This allows it to be moved from A to B like a kind of rolling suitcase.

Prices and availability

Unfortunately, Jackery has not yet commented on pricing and release date. However, we will provide you with more detailed info as soon as we have it.
