Ahead of CES 2023, LG has unveiled the LG Artcool Gallery Air Conditioner, a smart air conditioner that can display art, images and more via an integrated display. It is expected to be unveiled at the Las Vegas show in early January 2023.
LG Artcool Gallery unveiled
With the presentation of the LG Artcool Gallery air conditioner, the manufacturer gives a first glimpse at a novelty that they plan to present to the public at CES 2023. The special feature: instead of an ugly box on the wall, the air conditioner is equipped with a 27-inch display on which pictures, photos and own content can be shown.
With the help of the LG ThinQ app, you can determine yourself which content should be displayed on the LCD, while the comparatively narrow frame almost makes the air conditioner look like a work of art.
In addition to your own content, you can also choose from an ever-growing selection of static or animated images that can be displayed on the Artcool Gallery. Switching between content, as well as adjusting the temperature, is also possible with the help of a remote control.
Dual Inverter Compressor
In addition to the design aspect, the LG Artcool Gallery is of course also an air conditioner and thanks to the dual inverter compressor, it is supposed to provide a comfortable room temperature. And it’s also particularly energy-efficient, using 70 percent less energy than an ordinary air conditioner.
A new 3-way airflow enables indirect ventilation of the rooms, while the air conditioner is supposed to work particularly quietly and not be louder than 20 decibels. Added to this is a feature called AI Dry, where the air conditioner automatically selects the optimum drying time based on time of use and mode. This automatically and effectively removes any moisture that has built up inside the air conditioner.
The grill on the underside of the air conditioner can also be easily removed and is said to be particularly easy to clean. At CES 2023, the manufacturer will officially present the LG Artcool Gallery, along with many other new products.
