Reolink was also present at this year’s CES. In Las Vegas, the company unsurprisingly presented some new surveillance cameras. Three new high-end dual-lens cameras were presented, as well as a new 360-degree fisheye camera.
Argus PT 4K
The Argus Pt 4K is the first 4K camera with a battery from the Argus series. It delivers HD-quality video in both daylight and darkness. It also scores with person and vehicle detection, which should enable precise alerts and prevent false alarms. The WiF camera operates on both the 2.4- and 5-GHz bands. The pan angle is 355 degrees. The tilt angle is 140 degrees. Reolink had introduced its last 4K camera in November with the Duo Floodlight 4K.
The Argus series is also being expanded to include the new Argus Track WiFi camera. This camera has a particularly slim design and is equipped with two lenses. This is intended to cover a particularly large monitoring field. Furthermore, the combination of two lenses enables the magnification of moving objects. This camera is also equipped with a detection function for people and vehicles. Pets can also be detected.
The newly introduced Duo 2 is primarily aimed at people who want to monitor areas with poor Wi-Fi coverage. It is particularly well-suited for these places, as it works with LTE connectivity and thus operates over the cellular network. The camera works in the vast majority of networks. It is equipped with two lenses that create a 180-degree panorama in 6 MP super HD with low distortion.
Completing the portfolio of new high-end dual-lens cameras is the TrackMix surveillance camera. It is operated wirelessly and also in the mobile network. Compared to the cameras presented so far, it scores with its auto-zoom tracking. In addition, there is a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens, among other things. With these two lenses, very wide viewing angles as well as sharp close-ups are possible.
In addition to high-end dual-lens cameras, a new fisheye camera was introduced in Las Vegas. Such cameras are primarily used in a business context. They perform 360-degree surveillance of a room and are therefore popular in retail stores or warehouses. The newly introduced camera offers 6-MP super HD images.
