The Razer Blade laptops are among the best gaming laptops around. At CES 2025, the manufacturer unveiled the new Razer Blade 16, which is even more compact and powerful than ever before.
New Razer Blade 16 unveiled
More power, thinner housing. The new Razer Blade 16 is just 1.50 cm (0.59 inches) thick, making it the thinnest gaming laptop of all time. It is a full 32 percent thinner than its predecessor.
Nevertheless, you don’t have to compromise on performance. The laptop is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen processors, at its peak by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores and clock speeds of up to 5,100 MHz. The chip not only ensures excellent performance, but also impressive efficiency when gaming and working.
To ensure that everything looks good, Razer has equipped the laptop with a 240 Hz QHD+ OLED display with a screen diagonal of 16 inches, which boasts an impressive response time of just 0.2 ms and displays content with pin-sharp clarity.
Robust housing
The Razer Blade 16 is made from a single block of aluminum, which makes the notebook both robust and high-quality. The casing is also anodized to ensure greater resistance to external influences.
An advanced vapor chamber cooling system keeps the components in check and should enable excellent cooling despite the ultra-thin design.
The keyboard of the blade 16 has also been redesigned and now has a travel of 1.5 mm to provide a more precise typing experience. In general, the laptop has been improved in every detail.
In terms of connectivity, with several USB-A and USB-C ports, HDMI, 3.5 mm jack and a full-size SD card reader, there is nothing left to be desired.
Price and availability
The Razer Blade 16 (2025) will be available in the first quarter of 2025 directly from the manufacturer, in Razer stores and from selected retailers. The manufacturer has not yet announced a specific release date or the final price.
