CES 2026: Ecovacs shows smart robotics for indoors and outdoors

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Ecovacs presented a wide range of new robots designed to make the home and garden even smarter and more convenient. The focus was on innovative robotic vacuum cleaners and mowers with enhanced functions that further develop familiar technologies such as the OZMO ROLLER system and extend them to new product categories. In addition to classic cleaning robots, the company also exhibited devices that autonomously maintain lawns, windows or even pools for the first time – a clear step towards a “full-scenario robotics ecosystem”.

Highlights

  • New flagship Deebot X12 series vacuum robots with improved OZMO ROLLER 3.0 cleaning, high-pressure stain treatment and PowerBoost charging technology.
  • Robot mower updates with LiDAR navigation and integrated edge trimmer for efficient edgeless mowing.
  • Extended product worlds: Winbot W3 Omni window cleaning robot, Ultramarine pool robot, and LilMilo robot-based pet companion.

Evolution of cleaning robots: Deebot X12 family and more

Ecovacs’ booth at CES 2026 had a strong focus on the evolution of its robotic vacuum cleaners. The Ecovacs X11 OmniCyclone (Review | €898.00) was replaced by the new Deebot X12 series, consisting of models such as the X12 Pro Omni and X12 OmniCyclone. These rely on the revised OZMO ROLLER 3.0 technology with a significantly wider 26 cm cleaning roller, which covers larger areas per pass and thus promises greater efficiency.

An integrated high-pressure spray mechanism activates targeted water jets for pre-treatment when dirt is detected. The roller then follows up with a mop. Thanks to PowerBoost Charging Plus, cleaning runs of up to 1,000 m² should be possible without long interruptions. In the mid-range segment, the Deebot T90 Pro Omni expands the product range, also with the improved roller mop technology from the premium class.

Robots for garden, windows and pool

A particular highlight of this year’s presentation was Ecovacs’ significant expansion of its robotics ecosystem beyond floor cleaners:

  • Robot mowers: new models in the GOAT series rely on LiDAR navigation for precise orientation in the garden and, for the first time, have an integrated edge trimmer that also cuts lawn edges cleanly – a step towards true autonomy in lawn care.
  • Window cleaner: The Winbot W3 Omni has been updated and comes with a multifunction station with automatic pad cleaning, which is designed to minimize maintenance work.
  • Pool robot: Ecovacs is entering new territory with the Ultramarine: autonomous pool maintenance. The robot takes over the cleaning of water surfaces and adapts to complex environments in order to reduce the traditional effort for pool owners.

Robot dog and smart companion

Away from the classic household robots, Ecovacs also presented the LilMilo, a robot-based animal companion with sensory perception. Although few details are yet known about this device, it points to a stronger integration of AI-based interactions and emotional intelligence in the product portfolio – an attempt to combine robotics with everyday experiences beyond pure functionality.

Conclusion

Ecovacs’ presence at CES 2026 demonstrates a clear strategy to expand its robotics ecosystem far beyond traditional vacuuming and mopping robots. With the new Deebot X12 series, the company is setting technical standards in floor care, while networked lawn, window and pool robots as well as the first companion robots are opening up new areas of application. Prices and exact availability for Europe are still largely pending, but the trend towards more networked, feature-rich home robots is unmistakable – a step towards holistic, intelligent household and garden care.
