ChatGPT becomes even better, more reliable and faster with GPT-4

OpenAI has introduced the new version of Chabot’s ChatGPT, which relies on GPT-4 and comes with many new capabilities. Thanks to the new version, it is possible to create more creative texts, render content to images and create longer contexts.

ChatGPT launches GPT-4

A few days ago, OpenAI had already announced GPT-4, the latest version of its language model, which they just launched in the form of GPT-4. The fourth version is supposed to be superior to its predecessor GPT-3.5 in many respects, but is currently only available in the Premium subscription.

The new GPT-4 version is only available in the Plus plan, which costs around 22 Euros per month, while the free basic plan still uses the previous model.

The new version comes with some improvements, as the developers announced on the official website. GPT-4 is supposed to be able to solve difficult problems with even more accuracy, since the chatbot has been fed with more general knowledge and has improved capabilities.

For example, the bot is able to give more creative answers, analyze images and answer questions about them, respectively, create texts and handle over 25,000 words of text to create longer texts and enable conversations.

Furthermore, GPT-4 is capable of composing songs, writing scripts or learning the user’s writing style, according to the manufacturer.

Microsoft Edge gets GPT-4

Even its own browser, Microsoft Edge, from now on equips with GPT-4. Version 111 of the web browser also uses the latest version of ChatGPT as of today, at least for subscribers to the Plus plan. By the way, other browsers can’t officially use the feature so far, because Microsoft blocks it.

And only if you have been unlocked – otherwise you will first end up on a waiting list and have to wait for the unlock. ChatGPT in Microsoft Edge has been prominently integrated into a sidebar on the right edge of the browser window.

To use the feature, you just have to click, with the current version of the browser, on the Bing icon in the sidebar and you can select “Chat”. Questions are currently still limited to 2,00 characters, at least in the free plan.

ChatGPT answers it itself:

“The Chat feature in Microsoft Edge is a new feature that allows you to communicate with me as an AI assistant. You can ask me for information, set me tasks or just chat. You can activate the chat feature via a button in the sidebar of the browser and use it on any web page. The chat feature is based on Bing ChatGPT technology, which understands and generates natural language.”

A fan of basic-tutorials.de, the AI does not seem to be necessarily and formulates the answer to the question of whether it likes the site quite neutrally:
“I have no personal opinion about basic-tutorials.de. In this context, a human might say that it is a useful website that offers many tips and tutorials on various topics.”
