Chieftec reissues the Scorpion 3 case in white color. The White Edition offers the same benefits as last year’s midi tower, but now comes in a white color scheme. The case comes with a tempered glass front and side and already has four pre-installed 120mm A-RGB Rainbow fans.

With the CHIEFTEC SCORPION 3 White Edition, the next manufacturer follows the current trend of white PC cases and now offers the case introduced last year in white color. In the third edition of the Scorpion case from Chieftec, the front and the side panel remain made of glass. According to the manufacturer, the glass side panel can be slid to the side, which should make installation easier.
Thus, the case allows a view inside and also lets the four installed A-RGB Rainbow fans with a diameter of 120 mm shine outside. The case is extremely versatile and offers enough space for 2 3.5″ HDDs, 2 2.5″ SSDs, long graphics cards and allows the installation of a radiator.
The LED lighting is controlled via a hub, which is operated via the mainboard or via a remote control, which is included in the delivery. Thereby, the lighting can be synchronized with the systems of well-known manufacturers like ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI or ASRock. Mainboards with Mini ITX, mATX and ATX form factors are supported.
Price and availability
The CHIEFTEC SCORPION 3 midi tower case is scheduled to be available in October 2021. The manufacturer has not given any information on the recommended retail price. The black model available so far is currently on sale from around 83 euros.
