Chinese company CIGA Design is about to launch on the global market with a unique mechanical watch. The CIGA Design Mechanical Watch – Magician (M-Series) is inspired by magic tricks. In doing so, the watch transforms thanks to three interchangeable cases, allowing for three completely different looks.

A “magical watch on the wrist” awaits you with the CIGA Design Mechanical Watch – Magician (M-Series), which will soon be launched worldwide. More specifically, the mechanical watch is set to launch on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo in August as part of a campaign.

There, the Magician (M-Series) will be offered at a special price of $559. The later retail price will be significantly higher, between $600-900. So anyone interested in the unique model should keep an eye on the campaign website on Indiegogo and sign up for the newsletter to secure a special deal at launch.

Manufacturer CIGA Design has focused on the development of unique mechanical watches, winning several awards in recent years.

The new CIGA Design Mechanical Watch – Magician (M-Series) marks the manufacturer’s masterpiece and aims to delight wearers with transformative technology inspired by “magicians who wow audiences with incredible tricks”, according to the manufacturer.

Here, the M-Series relies on an inner base that houses the mechanical movement. This can be inserted into three different interchangeable cases, which feature different designs and thus give the mechanical watch a completely different look.

This allows you to adapt the same watch to the current mood, upcoming event or your personal look in just a few simple steps.

The inner watch mechanics sit inside a robust and chic frame that houses the CIGA Design CD-03 movement. Thanks to a zero-curve design, it appears as if the movement is floating inside the frame. A luminous coating also ensures that the hands and movement of the Magician (M-Series) are enveloped in light in the dark.

In this way, the manufacturer says it wanted to create a feeling thanks to which wearers feel as if they are traveling through space and time.

Environmentally friendly

The cases of the CIGA Design Mechanical Watch – Magician (M-Series) are made of 10.8 mm thick and robust stainless steel. They differ, of course, in terms of their dimensions. Thus, the round case comes to a size of 46.2 x 49 mm. The geometric case is 44 x 49 mm and the barrel-shaped case is the largest at 46 mm x 52.25 mm.

The silicone strap is 22 mm wide and a maximum of 125 mm long in the large version, while the short version comes in at 80 mm long. Thanks to a novel hot stamping process, the watch comes up with a unique texture, which the manufacturer combines with innovative, environmentally friendly materials.

Another highlight: on the front of the packaging, which is also environmentally friendly, a magician’s code is hidden in metal words. If owners of the watch send the correct code to CIGA Design’s Facebook account, they can also receive a gift from the manufacturer.
