Cooler Master launches Hyper 212 3DHP Black – Classic air cooler with modern 3D heatpipe technology

Cooler Master is expanding its popular Hyper series with a new model: the Hyper 212 3DHP Black. The CPU air cooler combines the proven design of the classic model with the innovative 3D Heat Pipe (3DHP) technology, which is intended to ensure more efficient heat transfer and quieter operation. Cooler Master is thus once again setting an example in the field of powerful and affordable cooling solutions.

  • 3DHP technology for improved heat distribution and higher efficiency
  • Copper base with optimized contact surface for modern Intel and AMD sockets
  • Quiet 120 mm fan with up to 2,050 RPM and only 27 dBA noise level
  • Price: approx. 29.99 €, availability planned in Europe

3DHP technology: More performance with fewer heatpipes

The Hyper 212 3DHP Black introduces Cooler Master’s new generation of heatpipes that allow for more precise control of heat movement. The three-dimensional design with an additional end point and T-shaped connection improves the evaporation and condensation process within the pipes. As a result, the heat can be distributed more evenly over the entire heat sink – especially over the outer fins, which leads to a more stable temperature development.

Inside, a hybrid structure made of sintered powder and finely graduated grooves ensures optimized heat absorption and return flow of the coolant. The result: more efficient heat transfer, less material used and quieter operation overall. Cooler Master summarizes the concept itself under the motto “Less is More” – fewer tubes, but better results.

The 3DHP technology has been implemented for the first time in both the new Hyper 212 3DHP Black and the V4 Alpha 3DHP Black. It is designed to outperform the cooling performance of conventional four-heatpipe systems and increase longevity at the same time.

Proven design meets modern efficiency

Externally, the Hyper 212 3DHP Black remains true to the minimalist style of the series: an all-black heat sink with a discreet, non-illuminated fan. Alternatively, Cooler Master also offers an ARGB version for users who want customizable lighting – both versions are technically identical.

The cooler measures 133 × 86 × 158 mm (W × D × H) and is therefore compact enough for most PC cases. The built-in 120 mm fan reaches up to 2,050 rpm, generates an airflow of 63.1 CFM at 2.69 mm H₂O static pressure and remains pleasantly quiet at a maximum of 27 dBA.

Direct contact with the CPU is ensured by an enlarged copper base, which has been precisely milled to ensure even heat dissipation. Cooler Master’s CryoFuze thermal paste is also included, whose nano particles further improve heat transfer. The mounting system is designed for easy installation and high compatibility with current Intel and AMD platforms without blocking RAM slots.

The Hyper 212 3DHP Black thus remains true to its reputation of being a reliable and uncomplicated all-round cooler – now with state-of-the-art technology inside.

Conclusion: New shine for a proven classic

With the Hyper 212 3DHP Black, Cooler Master proves that even established series can be given new impetus through technological innovations. The 3DHP technology significantly increases efficiency, while the design, volume and user-friendliness continue to impress.

The cooler will be available throughout Europe, with exact dates varying depending on the country. With a price of around 29.99 euros, Cooler Master offers strong cooling performance at a fair entry-level price – a successful mix of tradition and progress.
