Cooler Master presents MasterCase EG200

Are you looking for a new eGPU case? Then the hardware experts from Cooler Master might have the right solution for you. In addition to practical user-friendly features, the MasterCase EG200 scores with a volume of 9.7 liters. We take a quick look at the upcoming case.

Compact dimensions

In order for the eGPU case not to take up too much space on your desk, Cooler Master relies on very compact dimensions. Thus, the MasterCase EG200 measures just 383 mm x 140 mm x 208 mm. Despite the small size, the special case scores with practical features. For example, it comes with a practical notebook holder ex-works. On the right side, you can easily place it upright in the holder.

Cooler Master relies on modern Thunderbolt 3 when it comes to connectivity. In addition to the notebook, a matching 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drive can also be installed here. This is installed on the front of the eGPU case. In addition to Thunderbolt 3, there are also three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports on the case.

In-house power supply

When it comes to the power supply, Cooler Master doesn’t experiment. Since the hardware experts also produce power supplies, they naturally also provide the eGPU case with an in-house power supply. Namely, it is the Cooler Master V Gold, which delivers a whopping 550 watts. The power supply passes its power on to the graphics card via two 6+2 connectors. To ensure that even powerful hardware doesn’t get too warm, Cooler Master installs a 92 mm fan in the lid. This is supposed to provide effective air circulation. For the MasterCase EG200, Cooler Master has set an MSRP of just under 350 Euros.
