Cooler Master: Two new cases with mesh look

Mesh fronts are becoming increasingly popular in the field of PC cases. It’s hardly surprising that more and more manufacturers are taking advantage of the visual and practical benefits of these panels. Cooler Master has now also introduced two new cases, both of which are to be launched with a chic, air-permeable front. However, one of the two is an old acquaintance for connoisseurs of the leading manufacturer of innovative gaming peripherals and computer components.

HAF 500: Comeback of the HAF series

With its HAF series, Cooler Master tried one thing above all. Cool design should be combined with “high air flow”. Following the successful series of the hardware manufacturer now comes the HAF 500. For the eponymous “High Air Flow” should provide in this chic case in addition to two ARGB fans with a size of 200 mm each and the aforementioned mesh front. In addition to the two large fans, the upcoming HAF 500 also has a 120 mm Sickleflow fan. A variable bracket is used for this one, which is supposed to allow flexible alignment.

The HAF 500 obviously also wants to be flexible in the interior. There is plenty of room to install up to seven 120 mm fans or two 360 mm radiators. According to Cooler Master, this should also make it suitable for powerful gaming systems that require cooling. As it should be for modern cases, Cooler Master also takes the hobbyist by the hand. Thanks to a removable cover, installation as well as uninstallation should be pleasingly uncomplicated.

MasterBox TD300: Continuation of the TD series

Cooler Master also gives its TD series a new addition with a chic mesh front in the form of the MasterBox TD300 Mesh. Unlike the HAF 500, this one is aimed at users who don’t have too much space on, next to or under their desk. This is made possible by the compact mATX form factor that is used here. Connoisseurs of the TD series will immediately recognize parallels to other cases of the model series.

As with the HAF 500, Cooler Master has obviously made sure to make it as user-friendly as possible. So you can also remove the cover to make changes to the hardware. The built-in fans benefit from the mesh front in the mATX case, which is supposed to provide good ventilation. Cooler Master also directly includes a Sickleflow fan here, which wants to show off with its RGB elements.

Price and Availability

Those who want to secure one of the new cases, which are available in either black or white, can get their hands on it now. Cooler Master is asking for an MSRP of 159.99 euros for its HAF 500 and an MSRP of 89.99 euros for its MasterBox TD300 Mesh.
